Has anyone heard anything definitive from Ludo or JantyMod on the presale delivery date? I know they have changed the website "shipping" date to June 4 but understood this only applied to current purchases.

Hi there sports fans!
If you want a pretty good update, check out this thread...

It says that they are shipping TODAY . Ethan says that he will post the "range of order numbers" that were shipped at the END of the day today.:thumb:
Obviously, I don't know if this will include you (or me for that matter) but it's good news that SOMEBODY will get theirs soon!

Much as I want my stick right friggin' now; I understand that supply gaffs happen, and don't blame Janty a bit.

My biggest problem with Janty is the quirky "send money to jorth1@gmail.com" paypal method. Not that it's ever worked anything but dandy for me, but I've had some difficulty convincing others to order from because of it, despite the fact that I obviously got my Kissbox just fine.

If Janty is the manufacturer and Janty is the retailer then who would you blame?

Seems to me that either Ludo lied about Janty manufacturing their own wares or the company itself is a train wreck that can't even keep track of shipments to themselves, let alone to their customers.

From what I can tell, they do manufacture some of the components of their devices; mostly the ones that are unique to the janty models, like the kissbox's modular switches, but I don't think they make the atomizers themselves, and I'm 100% certain they don't make the batteries themselves either.

You seem to be hyperextending the definition of "manufacturer". Dell, for instance, doesn't really fabricate any of the chips or boards in the majority of their machines, and in fact contracts out almost everything that can be attributed to their own designs, but they're still understood to be the manufacturer of the end products they distribute.
In this day and age, It's highly unreasonable to assume that every piece of any consumer product more complicated than an unpainted wooden block - and especially in the case of any electronic device - was crafted in-house by its attributed manufacturer.

Dell is not a manufacturer of anything at all. They are just a builder. Janty sopposedly has their own factory that manufactures...

Check out this discussion...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/jantyusa/16289-where-janty-based.html
where Ludo says...
"everything is designed in Holland and USA, and then manufactured in OUR factory China and some extra parts production is outsourced to The Philippines and other factories in China."

Moral of the story is if Janty built the Janty Sticks, then how could JantyUSA be completely in the dark about delays in delivery and what is actually coming in the delivery?
