Hey Cell- why do you start every word with a capital?? Everytime I read your posts I cant help but hear a monotonous robot voice.

I frequently get the burnt taste and can't seem to figure out how to prevent it.

For one moment there I thought I was reading one of my own posts Let me know if you solve the problem - I'm a dripper too.

Waldo, I've done that too (overdripped) but into a Mini - I was holding the bottle-nozzle so that I should have been able to see the drips but I didn't see a dickie-bird until liquid flowed out the top of the atty 8-o I drained it for a while and all was fine, shame about some juice wasted though.

How come your keyboard went sane all of a sudden... for one fleeting moment? My poor ole eyes normally give up and they're very upset cos they want to be frendz with everyone

Waldo, the confusion arose (for me and some others I'm aware of) because the instructions said that the + goes at the top, and the top of the Stick, I thought, is its nose It only took a second to realise something was wrong, it sizzles as soon as you start to wind in the screw.

got my dura-c and pcc today. the battery fits in the hole pretty well, but i can barely get the lid closed with the battery inside. is that normal?

I have the exact opposite problem. I had to shim the lid with stickers to get my battery pushed down enough to charge. No big deal, just a bit of a hassle.

I agree...I'm anxiously awaiting my stick to be shipped. I know they were expecting a shipment today or tomorrow so I thought they would at least let us know if it came. I hope they ship it to me by Thursday the way the website stated.

The 'new' PCC just has a slot, roughly at the 7 o'clock position, molded into it. Make sure you do *not* have this slot..you may and may not be noticing it?

The 'older' PCCs can be modified..igetcha did a nifty video on it, just cut a slot yourself after taking the PCC apart..there's not much to it.

Hey Scylla, I tried someones suggestion of using a different atomizer, and lo and behold that did the trick. (someone mentioned that the original atomizer may have been getting too hot). I originally didn't think the spare atomizers would fit, but with a push and twisting action at the same time, it went in fine (thankfully!). Since the time of that switch, I haven't had the burnt taste, not even once. Definitely give it a shot. Since this is a loaner from a very generous friend, I'm going to give them a few of my spare atomizers for letting me use their janty stick until I get mine (lost in mail!)

Thanks for the info. I'm using the TAWA atomiser, because it will be easier to remove/replace if I have to clean it. That's what I'm getting the burny taste thru but I think it's getting better
