I have both battery sizes and it works fine. The switch *may* be depressed...I haven't notice that creating an issue though.

What's the concern?

I wanted to buy the PCC but I have the longer length manual battery, I didn't really want to go jamming them in cos knowing my luck i'll break them lol, but if the new PCC with the wider hole has been made to fit all the batteries I would rather wait awhile and buy that one.

@rock: for atomizers you will have the choice soon to buy cheap TAWA throw away atomizers or buy the normal warranty atomizers. The switches will be replaced in the next updated DURA-C batteries and also for JKBC switches. They are bigger and better.
Longer lasting batteries is a problem, no way you can have big Mah batts in the cylinder shaped batteries. However, we might soon launch our own screwdriver type model with E-pipe battery inside :D

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a JANTY screwdriver type at a 50 USD price ;)

I think anything that Janty puts on the market will find a place in the e-cig world. I preordered the Janty stick, have the KBC, and was now thinking of ordering the Mini Fogger to play with also.

4 of my manual batts are the longer ones. The buttons stick out to varying degrees. 2 slide in and out w/ no resistance. 2 have slight resistance, 1 more than the other. I don't have to jam any of them in and while the one with the button that sticks out the farthest has the most resistance, it's still slight and it's not enough that it is actually depressing the button. More like the button causes a slight drag.

The longer length means they stay depressed into the charger so they actually charge without needing a piece of foam on the lid to keep them down and charging. Also they last longer. I'd take the longer batteries any day over the shorter ones.

The only hole I wish were bigger is one of the cart holes so I could fit a dropper bottle. 10mm D x 40mm H. Anyone know where I can get one?

Even the older version DURA-C batteries fit any PCC if you are a bit handy, and they will charge the batts without a problem.

I not believe what i read!!!

I shipped back my PCC 2009/04/23, after the long waiting for our Dura-Cs. And finally got confirmation, that the PCC not work with my DuraC and that it was a mistake to list it on the Janty website in the Accessories list of the DuraC.

Shipped it back, because i want to place another order for a third DuraC-set or some spare atomizers - that we not need to refund.

Now i read this ... I wanted my PCC and when i now will order one PCC again - i pay 30$ for shipping??? (Plus my 6.70 Can$ to get it back??)???
Why i was told that they not work??
Ok, i not know if the PCC arrived yet, probably not - i asked Jeff for a confirmation e-mail.

!?

Very good question! That is why they have to quit changing their mind... I wondered when this question was going to come up. First it did, then it didn't, now it does again... despite no change to the PCC.

Personally, I'm not interested in the PCC but I'm upset ALL the batteries have now been shortened just so they will fit the PCC...

I have both battery lengths. I bought the PCC last week. Works just fine. I've been using it to charge all my batteries for the past couple days. It's pretty cool.
