Hopefully with the upload of the new site software that these types of issues will finally work out in your favour..... its truly long overdue !!

I swear by the Janty products and the given customer service when it finally comes into play, but these unnecessary delays and guessing on our (client) part should really have been taken care of much earlier.

Hope you get things worked out sooner than later Drema.

VapeOn,
Greg
Thanks Greg, your reply helped a lot. I dont mind if its late, its just the not knowing. I see orders that are in the 5's and I am wondering if I got snuffed or missed. It would be nice to hear something.

Just a heads up, got my Stick today in the mail today.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy.

Until I tried to use one of my existing 801 atomizers, it was hard to insert, then it started spinning easily. Turns out the base of the atomizer broke off the housing and is now lodged in my Janty Stick. Looking at the construction it appears that there was just one solder point holding it onto the outer housing, and that was not enough to work with the Stick.

Just a heads up that this may be a concern to to others. I know the workmanship on some of the atomizers out there isn't the best.

Keep pair of long tipped needle nose pliers handy, just in case.

Wish I had...

I don't have a janty stick,, have the kissbox if this helps I don't mind showing how silly I am .. when I first tried using my usb pass through I got only a couple of red blinks then nothing... After a day of nothing working I went back to checked the battery and found out I had put the battery in wrong. After I turned it around for the - and + it worked just fine... would be nice if your situation is as simple..

I ordered mine on May 18, 2009 order # 4499 and I havent heard squat other than it was to be in the next shippment 3 weeks ago. If I do not hear from them by the end of the week I am going to cancel my order and start writting. It is riduclus how someone can take money from a person and give no explaination on their orders. Instead they burry the occasional message in a unlocked thread or makes us guess that the damn stick is related to the dura-c with out really establishing the differences in the orders delay. This is the only flipp'n thing I have got to show for my 71 bucks.

I feel your pain Drema, you see I placed my order on 5/11/2009, order 4361. A Dura-C kit and two bottles of liquid. Ten days went by with no feedback, I had to send them an email asking if there was a problem. At first Janty at least extended me the courtesy of answering my e-mails. They assured me on 6/01 my order would ship no later than 6/04. That was my last contact with Janty, 9 days ago.

Two emails sent this week have not been responded too. If I don't receive a response by tomorrow afternoon I'm filing a dispute with Pay-Pay to get my money back. This wasn't my first order with Janty but it is definitely my last.

I'm not hard to please, just throw me a bone every now and then and let me know there's a problem. Dont ignore me and give me the silent treatment after you've taken my money. I'm all out of patience now, I've since ordered and received the same kit from a more responsive vendor.

From What I Read I Think Your Saying Is That You Spun The Atomizer Base Off The Atomizer and Now The Broken Atom Base Is Still Attached To The Sticks Atom Connector. That was from over tightening it.......

I have used 10 different atoms, no issues.

FYI: Solder Does Not Hold The Atoms Base To The Atoms Shell, it is attached via press fit / crimp. Also Note Some of the other newer & other brand atoms are not crimped / pressed in well (u will find out if u over tighten it), so I can see this happening, but only if you overtightened it. Always screw in your atoms to make contact, your not tightening a nut & bolt here, just make a good connection. If you have strong hands or like to really tighten things be sure to lighten up, what is worse is over tightening a standard e-cig batt into its charger, that will depress the center post in causing no contact with the atom later.

Just To Clear The Air, I Say This Is Not An Actual Stick Issue, It was a user & atom issue....

Has anyone paid any attention to the picture at the top of this page, JANTY STICK SERIES JANTY STICK, recently? What IS that little ring thing on the battery screw? I WANT that! I have two sticks and neither of mine have that. :(

That piece is a lanyard hook, there to attach a lanyard to it. Apparently they did not send them. Its easy enough to make your own though. :D

I would to start by saying the JS is best vaping device I've gotten to date. The problem is the manual switch is a sticker and starting to separate form the body and I'm afraid that the switch is going to fail. It was stated in another thred that it is easly replaceable. How can I get a replacement switch/sticker from Janty?

I'm going on vacation next month and would really hate to have to be on analogs for two weeks. :(8-o:(8-o

Just Email Them Or Use Their Contact Form On Their web site, just explain that to them. The Switch is the stick on type so you can change it yourself when you get it. :D

Just be sure its nice & clean (wash your hands too) when u do it. They will provide you their instructions.

This was 1 of 2 atomizers that came with an order I got in on Monday, the first never got a chance to be used, it turned off the base lightly tightening it the very first time. The other seemed fine until I tried it in the stick. I believe that they where simply a bad couple of atomizers. I will not say who I bought them from but it was a reputable dealer. And I am sure he will replace it for me.

I am no way am blaming this on the Janty Stick, once I got that atomizer base out, I've been been in vaping heaven.:D
