I think I would start by asking Janty!

My LE stick was received with the same problem. The button just won't stay stuck at the corners. I sent an email to Janty last week and still have not received a reply. (cutting them a little slack since they were so busy shipping)
I'm not sure they have the replacement switches in stock yet but hope they get some soon.

Ludo suggested that you could just glue it down, but I'm a little reluctant to apply glue to my stick as it could make thinks a little sloppy, but I may have no choice if they can't replace it soon.

Well, I guess no update until Monday..It will give me something to do later when I bump this thread up :D. I decided to order a 501 from Vaporstuff and ACTUALLY GOT A REPLY (hint hint Janty) but any who they will ship that out tomorrow so I look forward to my new e-cig. I’ve only tired them once and look forward to getting my first e-smoke.

I don’t know if this has any bearing on Janty, but after my exhaustive search for another e-smoke, I ran across some site that will not be getting shipments in until after the 22nd. So I guessing I won’t be getting my order until the end of the month.

If Janty is having an inventory or distribution problem, fine and dandy, no problemo. My issue is with the total lack of communication between Janty and customers like myself whose orders have been back ordered for over a month. Janty posting little nuggets of information on a forum doesn't cut it when they have my email address. When your customers have to initiate the dialog to get a status update on past due orders that's a sure sign your customer service blows goats. Inexcusable.

the usb does not give higher voltage, its all run through the battery.
its the same like the kissbox classic advanced, and i am glad janty did it that way.

I was refering to a conventional penstyle usb, which does not use a battery; not the Janty kind with a battery in series. With the direct usb connection you do get 5v, but the usb design itself limits current to 500ma, where a fresh battery can deliver more current. Should work out pretty much as a wash...

It will be interesting to compare with the Prodigy, which will give both 5v and higher current.

I am interested in this as well.

As far as the lack of throat kick, I think it is the juice you are using. When I use the Janty Fargo or Flue Cured from Ruyan Direct I get an really good hit. RY4 or Riskee is a real mellow flavor and I don't tend to get a big hit off of it. Another good liquid for hit is Parkers new Red Bull flavor.

I haven't had a problem with a leaky stick but my friend purchased one and began experiencing a leak. Tons of liquid would gather at the bottom of the stick and leak out the USB port and around the LED housing. We thought the stick was screwed up. I let him borrow my review stick which had never leaked one bit. I talked to him the next day and he said it was leaking as well.

It was at that time that we started looking to the juice. He was using Arctic Mint Johnson Creek liquid. The JC liquid wasn't as thick as the liquid I was using. He has since switched to using RedBull liquid from Dietsmokes and hasn't experienced a leak.

Can anyone else who has experienced a leaky stick post with what liquid they are using? Have you tried liquid from different suppliers? PG based? VG based? etc...

No leak and I've used JC's, Nhale and V4L with my stick. I think any leakage with using carts has more to do with the denisty of the cart stuffing which changes over time. Too loose it will leak and too "used" or thick and it will pool and not wick. Oh, all mine has been pg based liquid and I restuff with the fluval.

It might be a mix of fluid viscosity and cart density. I know if I take a bottle of JC and tilt it back and forth versus a bottle of Fargo there is a difference in the thickness and the skin you see on the side of the bottle is different between the two. The JC seems to be thinner. When I look at a rubber tip cart filler and compare it to the filler material in a hard tip from Janty the material from the rubber tip seems to be less dense.

I had leaking issues on every model of ecig that were sporadic but I think now looking back it may have been due to the same problem.

I ordered RY4 and Oriental along with my Stick. The RY4 was sealed (as in you have to turn the lid to break the seal) but the Oriental wasn't sealed, just had a lid that had never been sealed. Neither vial had a label, just RY4 and ORl handwritten on them.

Is this the norm for Janty liquids? The ORl could have anything in it and I'd never know the difference!

Does Janty just dispense 10ml of liquid from a larger container into the 10ml containers?

Thanks.
