My Merkava just arrived :D I was quite surprised as well. According to the tracker which I checked this morning the package still hasn't landed in the US!

Giving it a few rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner as it reeks of machining oil

Great initial impressions though on the build quality. Hefty, smooth threads, nothing is sharp (besides the looks!) ... the mystery o-ring is still making an appearance for those who are curious :)

lose (or put away somewhere safe) the phantom o-ring. It is of no use!!!! Enjoy the Merk. Its a great atty!

edit: how's the UTA2?? ;)

It's in the spares bin!

The o-ring, not the UTA ;)

UTA just landed in LA. Although I ordered the Merk a month ago I was having fun wondering which would make it here first. In the meantime "oootah oootah oootah" has become my mantra

I haven't had too much luck pushing the coil down with a hex key so my coil sits a bit higher.

I've always preferred my Squapes with legs on the bottom. I use the big flat handle (the rounded bit) of my ceramic tweezers to push the coil down. Worked great for me in the Merk as well !

the strange thing with mine is that I often feel it drying out and the vaope starts to get weaker (i am doing TC and it works well). If this happens, I screw the JF back down and I see a lot of air bubbles being displaced as I do so. Seems like the juice flow gets restricted by a build up of air somehow like there is negative pressure in the tank rather than in the coil chamber...

I am having the same issue wicking 50/50. But i think the problem is due to the fact that there is virtually no room between the pmma tank and the chimney bell. Its hard to see it the pic ... but i suppose that's my point!

Ive been getting dry hits - and on awful burnt hit that I haven't experienced in a very long time :( I am constantly adjusting the JC from full open to closed to let the air bubbles squeeze by. When I first got a hold of the pmma section I thought "oh, nice and thick" ... but now I wish it was thinner so the juice could actually flow past it.

I'm thinking about trying to find some cheaper (thinner) plastic sections to see if it helps

I had the same problem too, but was settled by changing the PC tank parts to the SS tank parts(I got from FT).
I think that the PC parts of Merkava is not usable.

As it was inconvenience that could not see the residual quantity of the liquid, I bought ”Replacement Tank Section for Orchid V4 Rebuidable Tank Atomizer (7-Pack)”(SKU:1939600) From FT.
It comes with o-rings for each color.

I used the blue parts first, there isn't so thickness and can use it without a problem.
I think that colored parts are OK, but the black one and the clear one, there is thickness and probably air stacks.

If there is a person having the same air stacking problem, try thease because it is very cheap.

I can tell you that mine is nice and quiet, I use the middle airflow hole.

I haven't heard of these until today. I actually have 2 xvosticks but just saw this tank. It sounds like flavor and Vapor wise, it's right in line with the rest so I think I'll grab one. Thanks for the reply!
