Message to e-Liquid vendors: This is what we want from you!

To vendors: While I do appreciate sales like the next customer, you can keep your 5% off sale! I mean seriously? Thanks for showing your appreciation.

I chuckled a little too loudly at this one, Mr.Mann. I got an email today from a vendor with a 5% off code, and I blinked a couple times, then deleted it. I suppose it's the gesture that counts in these situations...

Oh lord. I know you guys don't want to spill the beans on which vendor it was, but I am curious to know if they're on the pricier end or the more affordable end of the spectrum of prices. Perhaps you can divulge that much?

This particular vendor specializes in box mods, but they also mix and sell juice. To me, their juice prices are slightly high, although not insultingly so ($7 for 10ml)...

Honestly, it is way too many that go about it that way. 10% is the standard hidden coupon, generally ecf10 or something like that; but to have a "holiday sale" at 5% is not worth me putting down my plate of potato salad.

This may be a personal thing but I want you to have some experience before you set up shop. I know of one new vendor who has been vaping for about 3 months, doing DIY for about 3 weeks or less......and his site is open for business.

To vendors: I am certain this will fall on deaf ears, err, blind eyes, but could some of you please come up with a new term for your "tobacco" juices. I am not referring to most of the extracted vendors, or even some of the lab mixtures. Some of you are calling the most absurd juices "tobaccos" and turning people off. Too many people swear off tobacco juices when they have actually never had one. I guess this gripe should be filled under "better descriptions," cause I think the name should be indicative of what is to come (of course in tandem with the description). Stop with the "tobaccos," please; figure out what it tastes like and go from there.

I have watched this person mix on sidecam. I know he is using 100mg nic base. No gloves, no eye protection. If I didn't know what he was doing, I would have thought he was making himself a snack...... if he has no concern for his own safety, how much concern would he have for mine. And his juice is listed for 60 cents a ml. I can get much better quality juices from master mixer for as much and less than that......
It's people like him who can give this industry negative attention we do not need if/when he hurts himself or someone else.

Yipes! Yeah, you're absolutely right. If somebody were to ever get sick as a result of this guy's amateurism and negligence, the party would be over for all of us. The media has a keen eye trained on this sort of thing (think back to reports of anti-freeze in Chinese juice, or exploding mod stories). It's in everybody's best interest that vendors all maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We should be taking this sort of thing very seriously.

It's a world of difference between not wanting to name an overpriced, undercouponed, and generally elitist and uppity vendors who while annoying aren't actually hurting anyone.

Not wanting to name someone who may poison us with contaminated juice is another thing entirely.

At the very least I would appreciate a PM of the site so i can steer clear.

I really like to be able to choose my pg/vg ratio. Many of my favorite juices dont offer this option, only 50/50 is available. Im also gradually stepping down from 24 mg to 18 and many don't offer a 18 mg option. I also appreciate free samples with big orders. I recently placed a order for 187.00 and it was mostly juice, a free sample would have been very appreciated. I also like to know that none of the flavors Im buying contain anything that could be harmful like the butter popcorn chemical, I forget what its called. I also personally cap juice prices at about 18.00 absolute maximum for a 30ml bottle, I simply wont pay a cent more. I also go to certain vendors because they sell a juice I like and carry AW IMR batteries. But if they are out of my battery it creates a problem. I either buy from two sources and pay two shipping charges or go somewhere else all together. I wish some of the more popular vendors stocked more or at least were more reliable. I don't want to mention names. I did wait for two weeks to buy from a vendor once until Heavens Nectar was back in stock. Trust me if anyone else had it they would have lost my order instantly. I hate waiting. I also agree a 5% coupon is a slap in the face and basically annoys me more than motivates me to do business with you. One more thing I really like in a juice vendor is the option to add a flavor shot or menthol. I find some juices good but low on flavor. From what I understand the flavoring is the most expensive ingredient,and that explains the weak flavored juices. Just my opinions and what I personally look for.
