Not you tez....you were commenting about it I meant it as adding to your quote....its not a huge deal either I highly doubt anything would happen, my comments just reiterating what I said earlier in the thread

LOL! No sweat, Ogredog... I didn't think you really meant anything by it -- I was mostly trying to give you a hard time!

It's Good Life.

Thanks Charmed! I haven't heard of them before, but I'll be sure to steer clear. Sounds like a real schmuck!

a package for new users containing EVERY juice you sell for a good deal
I would suggest a very small amount to make it attractive like 1 to 3 ml or so
your first though may be "impossible" but anyhow would be handy
maybe split the packages up is some categories like tobacco and mentol to give you just 2 examples

I consider myself "intermediate" in terms of skills and working knowledge at this point but I would buy those if they were offered.

Doesn't even have to have nic, though that would be nice.

That could only be feasible with vendors that have manageable menus. Those that have less than 20 or so options would definitely be possible. Even at 1 mL bottles, you'd be getting over 850 bottles from JV and that is a bit of over-killing a dead horse beaten to death twice.

i understand that from those huge sites , but still those could offer packages instead, just as simple as that
and still the option should be there for those that want it imo.

Vendors, can you please offer insurance as an option

heh, there are juice vendors reading this.

I've already received an order where the default was actually set to "w/insurance."

What is really interesting about watching our "industry in it's infancy".................you start to see WHICH vendors are going to be all set, and no changes needing to be made, if and when the big *R* word comes to pass.

What is interesting reading all over the forum, carefully.....some juice makers must have a person on staff who looks into *such things*. It reflects in everything they do. THey are *keeping up*....not just mixing juice....but have a business mind behind the scenes. Others, it seems like it's everything they can do just to keep up with mixing their juice and getting it out the door. Others aren't doing either things too well. :p

This industry could get away with stuff that it won't be able to do the larger the customer base gets, and the more vaping grows. People will ask questions, and they will want to know things. Also, do not underestimate the way things will change when the big tob bursts on the scene.....they have everything from researchers to a bevy or corporation attorneys, to people who do nothing but conduct focus groups and arrange for independent lab reports on all their juices. They're also going to have deep pockets and relentless promotion.

And, unless you have all your ducks in a row, they will do what Walmart did to many mom n'pop vendors.

Of course, there will always be people looking for high quality, niche vendors, specialty mixers.......if you study a company like Harley Davidson, who were once at death's door in the mid-80's, and then made a metamorphosis----you can see exactly how they became able to sell a product more directly on its merits , i.e brand excellence. One of my hobbies is studying how that happens, and how the little guy can flourish among giants.

So---- it's not going to be as simle as a smallish group of folks on a vaping forum "like your juice" is all I'm sayin'.

I could be WRONG about all this.........

Excellent Post. Also got me thinking of an additional point. Vendors for your own sake, make sure you have good liability insurance. We americans unfortunately are a sue-happy country at this point in time and I would hate to see an honest hard working mom and pops vendor go under or worse due to a scumbag trying to make a buck by sueing you because your juice 'caused them irreparable harm and emotional distress'. It may have happened already somewhere but if it hasn't, it's just a matter of time. Protect yourself!

Anyone who is selling directly to consumers should of course have this. To do otherwise would be sheer negligence in terms of a business plan.

Ratman, I don't know much about insurance as it would pertain to ejuice mixers, considering that vaping appears to be in somewhat of a no-man's-land in many ways presently. There are certainly some unusual hazards inherent in mixing and selling liquid with nicotine, both to end-user and to employees.

I would imagine would be similar to minimum requirements like a mobile food vendors or smoothie vendors at a festival.

At any rate, this would spell "woe to me" for any vendor that does not have a dedicted facility where they are mixing, w/blending equipment, refrigeration, etc., as well as posting of safety and sanitary rules, etc. that will pass muster.

That means you can't just take a room in your house and use it for mixing without retrofitting or remodelling. (reading thru some of the old "I want to become a juice vendor" type topics made my hair stand on end by the time I finished reading them....sorry if this offends anyone, but I'm not interested in vaping that stuff, because I don't know how you live and how clean your apartment is.).

I fully realize there are others who believe in going the OPPOSITE direction, and love the thought of buying juice from a small DIYer, who makes tasty stuff in their kitchen and prints out labels on their home computer........ and I'm sorry, but I'm just not one of them. :) Hardware yes, juice, no.

Meanwhile, I do have another simple request from juice vendors if nobody has brought it up:

LAMINATED stock for labels.

A tiny drip of juice and the label is now smeared and unreadable.

Someone did mention "watercolor" labels. HAHA

But you can always put scotch tape over the paper ones first b4 u drip

Yes I know its a pain....and you shouldn't have to...just an Ogredog helpful hint lol!

Better than silver markers right Mann lol

Sitting down, facing forward.
I think the label runnng is a sign of a need for a little more professionalism. I got some samples, 3ml drip bottles, where the label was about twice as big as the bottle. I understand that a 3ml bottle is kind of small, but at least have the class to get a label the right size so the overlapping wrap doesn't hide the contents, jeesh!

Yeah, it's pretty annoying when you have no idea how much juice you have left because of the label.

Okay, so I just placed an order at my favorite vendor and used the standard ECF10. Here's my problem..

Message To e-liquid vendors: I know of only one vendor that rewards customers with automatic discounts built into their system for frequent buyers. If I have spent hundreds of dollars with you, shouldn't I get a better discount than someone that spent $5 with you? I am starting to look at some of you all as dealers more than vendors (if you catch my drift?!). Please start to reward frequent purchasers! I know all about the savings of DIY, but I don't want to talk about DIY, this about eLiquid vendors.

I loved the Labor Day sales and took advantage of the chance to save on a few things. THANK YOU VENDORS!

I like that you send me a free sample or an extra this or that, and you are usually pretty good about figuring out what I need before I know I need it. And you get me hooked that way. I am a nicotine addict and I agree with the above poster on needing to keep stocked with my nic fix. I can't replicate your juice with my DIY, and find myself with both my own and yours in my daily repertoire. It would be nice to not have to put that code in every time I buy from you though. I know who you are, I hope I can feel you know who I am as well.
