Metallic taste after changing coil problem...

So, I got my Aspire CF G-Power a while ago, and I've been using it very heavily since. Yesterday I figured I needed to change the coil in it, cause the taste seemed a bit weird.

So I did, before screwing the coil in I smelled it, and it smelled a little bit weird, sort of metallic but not very much.

I figured it was supposed to smell that way so I just screwed it in, but when I tried firing it didn't work at first.
So I tried shaking it a little bit, not much, and I got some vapor, a lot actually. But it tasted very very very metallic, and it still does. I have tried several e-juices and several coils and I still have the same problem. I even tried soaking everything but the battery part in water, and dry it over night.

Is there any thing I've done wrong that could have ruined it, or is it simply that the coil is bad? Cause in that case, all the coils I have are bad.

we have gotten a whole pack of bad coils before.

if you're unsure of anything like that you know don't use it


does anything else taste metalic? there's many medications and conditions that can cause that...if you're "new" to vaping it can stuff your sinuses up..which can cause that...

try some more coils, bump up your water/fluid intake, if it's still going on..see a doc.

I have taken brand new coils when I used to use the Aspire BDC coils and dropped them into alcohol overnight (with a little shake once and a while) and then pulled them out---shook them out and let dry for a day and then used them...it got rid of that metallic taste for me.

Be sure to hit them with a few drops of eliquid down the spout while installing and let sit for 15 minutes or so after filling the tank as well.
