I fully agree as to Product purchases, Great finds, complaining about issues etc. One place would be nice.
We still have the occasional New Member, First ride on the vape Train and no Idea what they may have done wrong. Their only concern is NOT making more mistakes and post in hopes of correcting their first.

I am in no way trying to establish any specific time for any particular actions to be taken.

I would simply ask consideration to give an actively forward moving post time to reach a logical conclusion.

I think making a Group for X when popular is great. What tells the NEW MEMBER it exist?
Do we just assume Forum literacy?

A group was created for fast tech.

The threads in New Members and General E-Smoking Discussion were growing exponentially (seems to be a popular place)

Normally, no, threads are not moved to a proper area until the OP has the post requirements to post in that area.

This was a mass moving of threads to get them to the group, and those that did the moves took on quite a task, but - unfortunately, there might have been a few threads that the OP didn't have the post requirement.

It only takes 5 posts and a system refresh to get there.


Hopefully the group will make fast tech discussions easier

Thank you so much for the FastTech forum. Not only is it very helpful for peeps here, it also helps when redirecting users from social media sites that has questions/concerns about FT.

Because of the huge hit FT is making currently this can hopefully ALSO serve to showcase ECF for many users of social media that aren't aware of our little Paradise.

This came up before (deja vu). Seems like it ended up with:
1) New member threads are not usually moved or not moved until criteria are met (like Caridwen said).
2) The General area has kind of a "pause" where they already were letting them age. Maybe some exceptions for obvious stuff.

Funny thing to do with deleted threads is dump them on a new site called ecf rejected threads !
