I purchased a bottle of menthol e-juice, 24mg of Nicotine in 5ml bottle. If 20 drops is 1 ml then the bottle would hold 1oo drops. That would work out to ,24mg of Nicotine per drop. If I refilled my cartridge with 4 drops the amount of Nicotine would be.96 a cigarette is about 1.1 mg of Nict. So I would have roughly the amount of Nicotiine in 1 cig in my cartridge. When I bought prefilled the manufacturer said each prefilled cart was about a pack of cigs (20). By my calculations this is way off. Does this sound right? If the Math is solid then this is a real ripoff.

Firstly, there is no known way to equate the amount of nicotine in e-liquid or a cartridge to the amount in a cigarette, as there are so many variables, not least of which is the fact that the strength of nicotine used by electronic cigarette owners can vary wildly from what they smoked - heavy smokers sometimes use low-nic liquid, and vice-versa.

Secondly, a 510-sized cartridge holds the equivalent of 2 to 4 cigarettes (more, with large carts and cartos). You will see ridiculous numbers quoted by sellers, for this. Either they don't have a clue or they are employing 'marketing spin', take it whatever way you like.

When you see the correct number quoted (something in the range of say 2 to 8, depending on the size of the cart), then you know you're dealing with somebody that both knows what they are talking about and is honest.

[please note: mega carts / cartos / tanks are obviously an exception to this as their capacity is far higher]

I want to correct your interpretation of "24mg of Nicotine in 5ml bottle." Nicotine level is stated in mg per ml, not per bottle. So, regardless of bottle size, if one ml = 20 drops, then there are 24/20 mg (1.2mg) of nicotine in a drop.

Apply that to rolygate's discussion of cart sizes and vaping/smoking styles.
