Okay, this is obviously a noob question and I think I know the answer, but I'm going to ask anyway. All juices are labeled with a "MG" for strength, what does that mean and is it a constant throughout suppliers?
My guess is that it means milligrams per milliliter...

And how does that translate "per hit" versus an analog....

it does means milligrams per milliliter...and a constant through most suppliers (some may use a % so 1.5% = 15mg/mL)

And how does that translate "per hit" versus an analog.... hard to say, a lot of supposition and no scientific hard answer,
it can depend highly on how you smoked an analog..(heavy drags down to the filter or one or two light and burn out in the ashtray)

most people here will more keep track of the mg/mL and how many mL per day used.

And welcome to ECF

What Stosh said...

What MG is equal to one of your brand of analogs? No way to tell until you try. I suggest leaning to higher mg's at first & keep some PG or VG around to thin the mix if it's too strong... much easier to go down than up, knowhatimean?

I know chain smokers that ended up at 18 or 12 mg; I smoked 1.5 PAD and I'm at 25mg, 3-4 ml per day. Just try some different strengths & you'll eventually find your equilibrium. From there, you'll know what mg to buy or mix, and you'll have an idea of how much juice you go through daily at that strength.
