micro coil

I am currently using a evod C control unit with 2900mAh battery. I had measure the output voltage of the control unit to be 3.8v no load. my question is will this be enough to fire a micro coil at 1.8ohm with 28 gauge wire? I am using the vivi nova tank.

I'm firing v3.3-3.4 on a 2ohm coil..

It's individual preference..

vivi nova can can fit a micro coil of 1.8Ω using 28AWG wire anot? wouldn't it be too long to fit into the crown?

You MIGHT be able to fit it in, but the chances of a short with the wall is very high. If you do manage it and there is still sufficient clearance between the wall and the coil, I'm sure your ID falls within mini coil range. Not that it matters what your coil is called, but just to clear some misconceptions about micro coils.

1.6 ohms with 28awg kanthal is the highest I am able to get on kanger t3 with a micro coil. Lost count of the number of wraps.

28awg would also take too long to heat up on a vivi at 3.8 volts. Under load, the voltage is gonna drop much lower. I would suggest 30awg instead.

I have 8 to 9 wraps. The dia of the wire is 0.3mm. Reading from the multi meter is 1.8 ohm. I have not torch the coil yet. This is the last tank I am left with. That why I am not taking chance.

1) I don't think it's 28awg. 29 maybe.

2) I understand your predicament. What you can do is to install the head and dry fire, counting the number of seconds before the wire turns red. It's probably gonna take about 5seconds, which means you won't be able to get a proper vape out of it.

Those who are interested to enlarge the air hole just drop by Daiso

The manual drill take some effort but results are goods

I brought my 18 gauge needle and different capacity of syringe from Unity.

5 x 18 gauge needle is about $0.50 or $0.70(sharp kind but can just cut off, i use my dremel to trim it)
5ml/10/ syringe is i think $0.50 each..

The ones in Daiso has a much longer tip. Good for bigger bottles

I see but doesnt matter to me since i usually tilt the bottle when i need to draw e-liquid. Something like how doctors will draw theirs when they are going to give you a jab.. lol

It will come in helpful when the liquid in the bottle is low. All will work. Personal preference.
