Not sure if this has been asked as it's rather specific. I have the KFL and a turtle ship. I can build a great eko and ribbon set up thanks to the local store. Seeing as how wire is dirt cheap and cotton even cheaper it only made sense to try the new setup. So I disassembled, cleaned everything and took a picture of every step to see where I'm going wrong.

Started off with a micro coil. Ten wraps around a 5/64 bit. Coil looks alright. Now that I see the picture the placement is bad.

Coil burns great. From the center outward. Nice and even. Gets too bright to look at.

This is the amount of cotton I used. It fed through the coil pretty easy. This is something else I'm not sure on.

Getting there.

Trimmed and tucked in.

Right before closing it.

And the end result.. weak vapor, no flavor and disappointment. Not defeated by any means. Where do I start correcting my build?
