Microcoil with silical wick

Hi

im trying to build some microcoil with silica wick, any tips or video ?

I dont like cotton , tryed with silical wick but worked good just 1 on 4 try. Most of the time, it get all black if I check the wick, after just 2-3ml but first 2-3 ml are great.

What setup do you use it with your silical wick microcoil ?

Im having problem to stick the wick into it mostly, if I do that , then I've to make bigger spires but still having problems

Im using PRovari with kayfun 3.1

I have a quick question. How long have you been vaping for? Never mind I found out my answer. You have been vaping for a whole 36 day and you know you dont like cotton. The other coils you have built what are the ohms coming out to. What are you setting the provari at? How thick is the silica how thick is the coil.

Hi sorry ive been at work.

I tryed iclear 30 , kanger protank 2, magoo, fogger and ufs v3 tobeco.

Im using provari, im using 0,25mm kantal A , and I tryed ohms 1,8-2.0. Today trying with 3.0.

What wattage or voltage. Too high and you'll burn the wick. That might be why you dont like cotton

If you want to use silica in a micro coil, you just unravel a few strands off of a piece of silica. Then you use a piece of Kanthal to thread it through the micro coil.

you might want to try a lower setting. micro coils heat up faster. start at 3.2 or so and go up till the taste is there and you are not burning the coils

thanks for help, if I use 3.2 voltage, i get zero hit and I like HIT hehe

Today I tryed with cotton.... did on both kayfuns, microcoil with 1 mm screw, microcoil was perfect, 1.5-1.6 ohm.

I putted cotton, tasted good first minute, so I gone out with both kayfuns.

After 2-3 minutes both tasted bad. So I had to not vape all day =(

I thought was because i putted too much cotton so I tryed to put less , but still same result.

How come ? Im so bad at this =(

Ohms 1.6 and provari at 3.6

Its "macrocoil" m3 screw, 2mm diameter, bigger then other microcoils, I can put more cotton etc.

Works good at least 1 hour vaping. ohms 1,7, provari @3.7

You may be using too much cotton so it doesn't wick ,I never got a burnt taste from cotton you have to soak it before you fire it. What cotton are you using? I vape a AGA-T2 with a U wick of cotton at higher volts than that with no problem.
