Micromizer x7 issues

So I just got a pack of the green micromizer x7's the other day. I do not like them.

Here's why.

dry/burnt/scratchy hits. I get a lot of them. If I take a vape, the first vape is great. Second vape, dry/burnt/scratchy. Let it sit for a while, the vape is great again. Take another vape or two, dry/burnt/scratchy.

Second thing is leaking. I saw videos on youtube about these just pouring juice right out the bottom. I filled mine tilted to the side like Chris did in his video on Gotvapes.com. I had no leaking when I filled it the way he did.

However... after not being able to tolerate the scratchy/dry/burnt hits. I took the micromizer off and set it down on my desk, standing up. When I woke up the next day, I had a pool of juice on my desk. All the juice had leaked out the bottom, the inside was pretty much dry.

I can easily see someone prefilling these to take with them for the day, and having these leak all over the inside of your case or whatever you carry these around in.

Hopefully we can get some improvements going these as they are much easier to fill than CE2's. Although I did see the post about the new CE2's coming in about 3-4 weeks. So I may just get those and never try the micromizer x7's again.

Just throwing this out there for Chris to see. This is not a angry customer/complaint post. Just throwing out my experience so Gotvapes can get these improved.

Thanks!

I've also come across this problem, sadly I have no idea how to solve it. The first one I tried had no errors whatsoever (I used the white one so I could see exactly what and how fill). I tend to use a primer pull when the flavour gets dry but I imagine (as these are tank based) that they should have a constant feed until all the liquid is gone.

Would love to know if anyone has managed to resolve this.

I opened one of the Micromizers today, and one side of the wick was in the tube. I had to pull it out, in order to fill the hole. I wonder if that is happening to yours.

I was also able to get one to leak out. I filled it straight to the top. I've always kept enough to have a good air bubble, that when upside-down, the pressure from the drip tip wont push juice.

Also, if it still isn't wicking perfectly for you, try cutting the reservoir deeper. You can also try cutting the sides of the juice vein down. It will allow for even more juice to go down to the bottom, but if the wick isn't perfectly cut to fill the hole, you will get a lot of gurgling. It's not usually needed if the bottom angle is cut deep enough. But, give it a shot if it is still giving you an occasional dry hit.

I've tried the reservoir cut on a quite a few, and they are all working beautifully. If you are having any issues still, just let me know, and I will help you work on it. I am sure there is an easy fix.

Got a pack of these in today for the missus. First impression is this is a pretty cool little device.

Vapes nice, no trouble with dry hits or leaking right out of the box with 100%PG juice.

Best of all, she is able to use her favorite flat tip anodized aluminum drip tips, and 510 mega's! Fits just right.

I did this yesterday... put the x7 on your IPro, at full power. Once you awaken, tell me if it was a dry hit!

I really need to paint my OI a different color or something.

In all seriousness (as much as I can muster), if you do get any dry hits, my mod will take care of those. :) I actually used an x7 all day. I really like the flavor from them.
