Boys Boys! Play nicely and behave yourselves...we don't want to hijack the OP's thread. Put the testosterone down and let's move on.

I have been watching this post and I know that everyone has different views on this. The simple fact is this...nicotine IS addictive and yes OP you may very well become addicted, why take that chance...is it really worth it "just to fool around with it?" Really?

But MOOOO....OOOOOOO...OOOOM!!!!! We were just having fun.:)

I wholeheartedly agree with your post. Why take a chance when you dont have to? Is it smarter to park on a lighted street corner with lots of foot traffic or in a dark out of the way parking garage? I know which one Im picking but some people have to learn the hard way.

Whatever happened to letting grown ... folks make their own bad decisions and learn something?

Did I miss when that went out of style?

I dont think it ever was in style......I know if I had it to do all over again I'd listen to older folks and my parents more than I did. Im lucky I'm still alive because of some of the bad decisions I made.Nothing at all wrong with trying to caution someone against making one of their own.

In the end theyre going to end up doing whatever they hell they want to do anyway but nothing wrong with being the voice of reason.

It really depends on the person. Someone can be instantly addicted to nicotine or can build to an addiction over a long period of time. If it creates a feeling that you instantly enjoy, it will be very hard to put down and for that reason alone you should know exactly what you're risking by doing this before you take that first vape.

0mg juice would be a better option if you choose to just mess around because it can lead into quite a different outcome if you include nicotine into that scenario.

You learned they were right by making some mistakes and that's generally how they learned what they told you, it's part of life. I think we've covered that nicotine is addictive so that's out there. The rest of it is up to the OP to figure out, try out or whatever.

Youre right I did, but then Ive always been hard headed.I daresay thats a trait we share in common no? Someone a little less stubborn and smarter than me may have valued and listened to their opinion a bit more and avoided those same mistakes.

I rarely if ever asked for advice when I was younger and viewed others opinions as unsolicited and unwanted. The difference here is the Op ASKED for our opinions.

Cant very well fault the rest of us for giving them now can you?

All over the place
Not wanting to kick a dead horse, but can't the OP just vape 0 nic? Yes, nicotine (for me, for over 33 years) is addictive. If the OP would like to vape (for whatever reason) 0 nic would be my recommendation. Hugs everyone! :)

But, but, near-beer sucks! Next thing you know people are going to start buying decaffeinated Red Bull (isn't zero nic Red Bull eliquid the same thing? LOL). Just jiving. Zero nic would work for a non-smoker, or a person wanting to get away from nicotine (there are plenty of reasons for some to need to do that); but I have a hard time believing---judgement coming---that the OP really wants zero nic. There is a draw, not only in vaping (literally), but to substances--that idea is one I truly believe. I just want to try it is the vibe that I am picking up on and I know that vibe well. "I don't want to throw it away?" Yeah, okay.

Edit***I just clicked on that link in the OP's post to "Tobacco Tar Oil Red Bull?" Uhh, is this the whole purpose of this thread? Damnit! I just got Punk'd.

Nope, I can't fault you for giving an opinion when I have no trouble giving mine. Just think things that read more like instruction, "throw it away" and such, are a bit much to say to another adult. Which is another of my opinions that's a bit more tied into something else other than vaping.

NOT true. Its been found in studies that those with a disposition towards addiction can be hooked the first time they try ANY addictive substance or behavior that causes a chemical change in the brain. That can be sex, chocolate, illicit drugs, nicotine, alcohol etc.

(MODERATED)

OP, yes, nicotine can be additive. For many of us it is additive and it is the reason why we vape. We vape to not smoke but we still want/need our nic. If you want to proceed then yes get rid of the 18 mg and get 0 mg.

A few people at the vape shop I visit do just this. No nic and they like doing it. Here is the good part for them. They can leave it alone for quite some time before they choose to come back to it. A lot of us who vape to not smoke don't really have the option unless we want to suffer through it.

So yes, get a inexpensive kit and some 0 mg eliquid and have a ball. When you grow tired of it you can safely walk away and not look back.

Have a good evening. :)
