Kezy, I hope you're feeling a bit better, and still resting :)

MaryKay, how's Mike doing? Have his hot flashes subsided? A friend told me that she had heard that hot flashes were basically histamine responses, and that antihistamines were sometimes effective in reducing them....i did a quick search and found one article found one article Zyrtec may reduce hot flashes in postmenopausal women: small trial | OB/GYN News | Find Articles ...might be something worth checking further :)

Im doing okay.Still sore and swollen but its getting better.I still cant balance to great so Im stuck in the house still.I did get them to take me to McDonalds one day.Had a burger and fries.Besides that Im pretty bored.I go back on the 6th so we will see what they think.I think Im healing pretty good and Im saving up for that hearing aid because I know its going to work so I need to be ready.I say within 3-6 months Ill be a functioning hearing whole person!!

I just got back from Miami. The surgeon was very happy with everything. He said it all looks good. The last surgery they replaced the implants with titanium implants and had to replace some cartilage and redo the canal and eardrum and its all healing nicely. The only negative was 3 more weeks of not moving much.YUCKY! But its fine if it keeps healing as well as it is.Im still dizzy off and on but he said it will keep improving slowly so its all good.I swear I can even hear a tiny bit.Im a happy girl tonight!!
