Baring a new chip anytime soon, the ERM's I have coming eventually (love you Mike), will probably see me to the end of my vape career. My wife is down to 6 mg and falling fast, I have dropped to 12 from 36. She expects to vape for another six to ten months and I will probably try and get down to zero this year.

Though we enjoy vaping our goal is still to not have a "thing". That said, once we are at zero, will will probably vape some. Each of our doctors basically supports it, but also recommends that it be a path to just normal life.

And finally...if we fall off the wagon at this point, it is back to vaping or higher nic...so that is a good thing.

My end goal is to not have a "Thing" :) I started at 18 am down to 4 now :)
As I get lower I find my steps down are taking longer :( From 4 to 0, End Goal mite take me another year?
With the way the vaping market is moving now IMO there will plenty of new toys to build before then.
Not to mention the whole hooked on mod building "Thing" :)
One thing for sure I have enough nic in the freezer to last till the end no problem :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
I just enjoy the "rituals" of vaping (smoking). With my first cup of coffee, after completing a hard task, after dinner and after certain other activities. I started at 18mg and am down to 5mg. To be honest I haven't noticed a difference as I drop the nicotine down, but I do have enough nicotine to last me until the mid 2050's with no problem.

Talk about irony, I looked to the right of Mike's post and saw prefilled NJoy stuff advertised here in the ERM+ thread. Bet they'll sell us all a ton of them...NOT!!!!!!

I finally got around to taking some photos this morning, but first I did some "maintenance" on a couple of my DNA200s.

I took my 1590G apart to re-fold the screen ribbon to make sure it stays away from the fire button. Building the ERM+s has convinced me that the ribbon cable is pretty durable and can be bent quite severely without damaging it. While I was at it I took the fire button out and ground/filed a flat on the side that faces the ribbon cable just to make sure. Then I took ERM+ #037 apart and tightened up the 510 connector so it is now flush to the enclosure. My first attempt at a custom spanner didn't let me apply enough torque to tighten it completely, but my new one works like a charm.

Here's ERM+ #037 and #038 apart for the photo. In the center is my "high tech" spanner for the 510 connector. Its just a piece of aluminum angle with 6-32 screws threaded through it and ground down to fit in the holes. I'm using lock nuts on the other side to allow setting the depth to prevent the ends from scratching the case under the connector and to spread the force a bit onto the angle stock.

Here's my "stable" of DNA, hand built, mods. From left to right - Low tank DNA40 with a Fogger V6, ERM+ #037 with an Aromamizer, ERM+ #038 with a Fogger V4.1 and 1590G with an Aromamizer. ERM+ #038 is for the Mrs. and the Fogger has kanthal coils 'cause she's a tootle puffer. Bet the battery lasts her a week or two at least!

I personally don't have a "quit it" mentality personally. If I vape for the rest of my life, so be it. If I quit, again - so be it.

I currently have no plans to quit, I enjoy the act of vaping, the hobby of vaping, etc. That's my 2¢.

Paging @TruckerMSA
I'm getting a piece of stabwood as well as a piece of acrylic+ sx350j from a modders buddy. He's also sending me battery cap for 26650 and a milled faceplate for the board
Any tip on milling the block so it stays in one piece yet allows me to install all the component like the battery contact from the front or or bottom of block?
I'm going to pay someone to do this, but want to draw up a schematic

Figured I had wasted enough time thinking about what I was gonna do on the outside and not coming up with anything that I might just as well put em together and enjoy them as is.
Buttons needed sizing so I put them in the holes from the outside and used a dremel and put a dent in the back side. Using the ERM+ to hold the buttons worked great.

I didn't get my snap ring pliers to fit well enough to use after the 510 install so I put it together first. Extra length on the wire. I put the curl in the wire and marked the "top" side that would be up once it was soldered to the board.

Lots of room to cut, strip and solder on the outside of the mod and it will be in the right position once installed with no tension on the board.

Other wise I just followed @mikepetro build guide and they are a snap to assemble.
Still gotta figure out what to do with the outside surface.......

My friend who I'm making a DNA200 Sqonker for served in the Marines so I thought I would add a lil personal touch to his mod by adding this Marine Emblem made out of pewter, looks good huh?

First I hear of this? Just googled it and looks pretty interesting!
Curious to find out what you think of it. Keep us posted on the mod build progress on this new Chip :)

All ready checked it out :) I'm more interested in what you think about it :)
Obviously when you get it in a mod and have tried it. Specifically how long a battery lasts compared to other chips.
I couldn't find any reviews or any info at all really. Is it 40 or 50 watts?
It has TC it's small, really battery efficient! thats about what I could find on it :(
Looking forward to here what you have to say about it :)

Here are ERM+ #'s 008 & 009.

And while I was at it I put together a DNA 200 and a DNA 40 in Alpinetech G+ boxes. On the 200 box I needed a nut for the Evolv 510. Picked up 2 brass nuts from napa and cut one almost in half on the band saw and finished the cut with a dremel. Thats a 2fer one! :thumb:

And ya know I had to add color to the screens so they matched the boxes. :p

The layout of the 200 is the same as the build guide for the ERM+. Used an Evolv 510 here. Because of the plastic board holder I had to solder a lead to the nut/board for ground.

And I made the Red DNA 40 the same as the green one I did prior. Used a FD510 on the Red.

The Aromamizer for the green one was getting a refill, so I figured I would post some pictures!
Aromamizers on DNA's are way better than bottom feeders! :hubba::D
