Thanks Tibs - FYI the search button disappears when a thread is closed. Why oh why does it work like that

Even "bookmarked posts" don't work in a closed thread. "It" takes you to the page w/ the post but not directly to the post that was bookmarked. At least for me it doesn't. When I bookmark a particular post in a co-op thread, I make sure I note the post# so I can find it once the thread is closed. I reported this 'feature' to ECF once but got no where w/ a fix/resolution/workaround.
I can still see a search button in the thread...

Me thinks you are special, with "Goddess like" privileges. Us mere mortals dont see the "Search Thread" button in closed threads.
Several of the standard controls are gone.

i just checked the thread you closed this morning, classy, and it's still searchable and likable but no longer quotable

ok...so...would it be a help for you all if I moved that back to the active area for a little while...but leaving it closed ?

For those who have not seen pbusardo's video interview with Evolv, there was conversation there that future boards will have step down ability. Step down, is the ability of the board to regulate below battery voltage. There is hope for you yet, Tibs!
