Looks fairly clean to me. Mines a pit. Started to clean up earlier today but don't have enough places to put stuff. Time to get a new cabinet or two.

Oh now you're just showin off...:p
Actually, that's a quad I'm building from spare parts. I realized I had everything but a frame so I bought a frame to build this out. Now that I've built a few, I have a better idea how to install everything but to make it clean is really time consuming. I had it together for a quick hover test but then took it apart to install FPV (camera) gear and printed some parts. I still need to wire the camera and OSD which will probably take a few hours because of soldering all the small wires.

Speaking of Hakko...

I got the kit with the free wire cutters. I thought it'd be crap and I already had a good mini wire cutter (Craftsman Professional). The wire cutter is one of the best I've used and replaced my old wire cutter.

Hakko CHP-170 Micro Soft Wire Cutter, 1.5mm Stand-off, Flush Cut, 2.5mm Hardened Carbon Steel Construction, 21-Degree Angled Jaw, 8mm Jaw Length, 16 Gauge Maximum Cutting Capacity: Side Cutting Pliers: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Yep that is the same pair I have. They are definitely the best pair I have ever had. All the electrical techs at work have them. For around $5 you cant beat 'em.

I "codified" them at work, in other words we stock them in our spare parts cage. All the guys love em....

Oh, and I bought the Haiko solder station for work too, also a hit, but damn do those guys abuse some gear!

Sitting down, facing forward.
I got a pair of Xuron 170 nippers that are really nice although a little more expensive. What I really like about them is that they hold the nipped off piece of wire rather than shooting it off into wherever when I cut something. That avoids all those tiny pieces of kanthal, nickel and titanium being scattered around.

Xuron 170-II Micro-Shear Flush Cutter: Wire Cutters: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

PS - A clean workbench is a sign of....

That's why I have that Greek yogurt container in my workspace. I snip wires and stuff into that so it doesn't go everywhere. Like a mini trash can on the desk.

I'll refrain from comment so I don't get flamed for going off on a "Libertarian rant".

I have a strong libertarian bend myself. It seems like all "mainstream" politicians have forgotten the meanings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Only way to solve it is to eliminate Lobbying, Fundraising & Campaign Contributions entirely by forcing all NETWORKS, NEWS & MEDIA outlets to provide equal time to any candidates free of charge in exchange for licensing. Cut all special Interest groups and other avenues of corruption off at the knees in one fell swoop.
