We are not the "quit" police! It is what you say it is. I would stick to the first date..if truth be told..many people on here don't even know their quit date!
We just love to celebrate a milestone, so the sooner it comes the better!
BTW a slip or 12 does not reset you!

I didn't know that!! I slipped from March 29, (due to a family tragedy) so reset mine. I celebrated July 4 instead of March 29 - yippee, I guess I'm doin better than I thought then. Quit cigs then 15 mos ago instead of 12. Thanks MK!
