1 hour, 1 day, 3 days or 3 years..It's a great milestone! You will start feeling a lot better very soon and then you will feel like doing those laps or situps..whatever!

But then the bad stuff starts..your smell returns and then you have to clean. Your taste returns and you discover..I really hate that seasoning! Then..oh here's the worst, you find out smokers SMELL..you look in the mirror and say..I smelled that bad!8-o

I wish I were completely analog free. I don't feel that I'm completely satisfied by just vaping. I've been reading a lot in the forums and have been wondering if I need to go to a 6V. Did any of you have that problem in the beginning? I'm using a 510 with standard batteries and 24mg nic. I've been a 2 pack a day smoker for I don't know how many years and have been smoking for 50 years. I started very young.

Not sure if I can put this here lol but it is a mile stone beacuse I stopped analogs.. I'm so in aww that it's possible and wouldn't be here if I hadn't picked up an e cig and stopped smoking....:)

Since Dec 11, 2009 I logged 100 mile of walk/runs
I can run 3 miles straight without stopping at 10 minute miles
and the longest distance I am currently at is 7.5 for walk/run at 1:22..
am 12 miles short of reaching my goal of making 83.3 miles in a month..

I will never forget not doing anything that would cause me to need to breath deeply knowing, I couldn't do it, I would double over hacking..

thankful I picked up an e cig..took a while to find the right way that worked for me, but it was worth it..

Congrats to everyone who has quit analogs, whether a day or a month! That is quite an accomplishment.

I vaped about a year or so ago for a few months but never quite gave up the analogs. However I did cut down to just a few a day.

Gave up vaping when I starting having serious skin problems from the pg.

Now I've started vaping again and using a pg/vg mix. I'm getting into it SLOWLY, a few vapes a day to give the old bod a chance to adjust.

I seem to be having trouble with blood sugar spiking immediate after vaping. I need to monitor very carefully for a couple of days and make sure I test about 2-3 hours after meals then vape for a while and then check again to see if it's really the vaping.

I'm hoping it's not because I do not want to give up on quitting analogs and the only way I can do that is to vape! I'll update in new post in a few days.

Sorry to "treadjack" the congrats - I'm really thrilled for those of you who have reached these milestones. Thrilled for you and .... yes ... a bit envious. Hopefully I'll get there too soon.

Don't sweat it Sherlock! This is the Women's Room, we don't worry about spelling and topics! (unless it's a serious topic)
I test 2 or 3 times a day and have never had a spike when vaping. (P.G. with a few drops of glycerin) I read the wiki on Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin and both said they don't raise Blood sugar.

Mary Kay where are you at on the Calender now ?????:) getting up there girl......
I just realized I have hit 8 months whoo whoo... (that is 432 packs of cigs not smoked )

My neighbor is analog free except when he drives through Denver lol... So we got some 36mg .... I always tell him not to think too much,, just make the choice of PV or analog as he feels it and don't anylize it... No right or wrong way of doing this.just do what you feel....and taking that stress off of him he went total analog free 3 days before he realized it, when he had a strong craving for an analog as soon as he hit the Denver traffic, that he finally realized the difference in the craving..and a real real craving..... I say stay on the surface of your feelings and don't dig too deep...

I know if I think too hard after my first thought I start to contradict myself then confusion and chaos sets in of what is real or too much thinking making it real...

everyone relax enjoy the ride and feel good!!!!

this is a great thread! I'm at two months smoke free, and glad to know that this might actually be as good as it seems to be. I'm a bit of a cynic and have been hoping that vaping isn't one of those things that is too good to be true. so, YAY and congrats to all of you who've been here for awhile.
