OK, so now the obvious question...how do I put my hands on one of those beauties? They are all out of stock, and reo doesn't write back to let me know about ordering one...I did place my order on 2...but nothing yet

You placed an order on two that were for sale? Or you used the Notify Me option?

I'm planning to get a Woodvil this coming month (if they are available) and I'm wondering, for someone who already owns a grand, is there a lot of difference? I mean, besides look and the non-mechanical switch obviously, does there seem to be any differences in draw or performance? I'm getting one anyway because they are little beauts but I like to know what I'm getting into.

Most people seem to think the Woodvil hits harder than the Grand.

you check the updates thread. pre-register. hit notify me when in stock on your choices, and then wait for the day they go on sale. then you push your way onto the site in a mad rush and click buy me. otherwise you contact for a special order i think...

Good gravy, my Grand hits like a bleeding Mac Truck (slightly self modded) so I'm a'fearin ;)

Thanks though, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Well, MX had to go to a higher resistant atty, cause the 1.5Ω that he's been using on his grand was just too hot for him on the Woodvil. :)
