Hey cannuck! Do yourself a favor and get a Grand. You won't regret it. I have all 3 mods and they are all great, but if I had to choose only 1, the Grand, no contest. The Woodvil while beautiful is more delicate by far, and I find the Grand hits a little harder than the Mini, likely due to different batts.

If you NEED the smaller size go for Mini. Otherwise Grand is king.

Hey buddy!! So this is where you hang out now!? Just curious, how long did shipping take to Canada?

...I own a woodvil, and I swap batteries about 3mils into the 6mil bottle because I prefer the 4- 4.2v vape....

I keep thinking I have my mind made up on a mini, but I can't get these quotes out of the back of my mind. Does the grand really hit harder? I thought that the only difference would be in juice capacity and battery life, but is their a noticable difference in performance as well? Do the 14500 batteries drop in performance more quickly than the 18650's? Sorry, I don't know ANYTHING about mod batteries, but are they both 3.7 volts?

I don't have a Grand, I have a Mini and a Woodvil. The Woodvil is wired, instead of all mechanical, and yes, I think it hits harder, but not a HUGE difference. The Grand doesn't hit as hard as the Woodvil. I still love my Mini, and it hits plenty hard for me.

Yes, the Grand and the Mini are both 3.7v. The battery in the Grand/Woodvil is larger and lasts longer, but isn't "stronger."

IMHO the Mini hits really nice with an AW battery. The Grand hits just a bit nicer, and the Woodvil beats them all.

I have to say, I think I prefer the Mini due it's size but that's mostly for work and out and about stuff. I keep the Grand at home unless I have a really long trip. I sold my Woodvil because I'd wreck it, but I liked that one the most.

I'll get a mini Woodvil when they come out, I'm sure.

The Grand will hit as hard as the Woodvil if you put some noalox on the battery spring's screw. The 18650 and 14500 are both 3.7v, though I doubt they put out the same amperage since there is a noticeable difference in performance, using same atty and juice. Also, the smaller batts need to be swapped 2-3 times as much. I put in a fresh 18650 every morning, vaping 2-3ml/day.

I've had my Grand about a week. I was worried that it was going to be to big. Imo, I was right. It isn't convenient for at work or on the go. I find myself doing stuff one handed because its not pocket friendly when I'm carrying my keys and phone and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love my Grande compared to to the other pv's I've tried. When I'm hanging out at home or a friends house its great. As far as the Grande out performing the mini... ignorance is bliss (what you don't know won't hurt you). If your a bit worried about the size then I vote Mini first Grand later.

Now that I have almost a day on my new mini & Grande, I guess I'm an expert... just kidding.

So far, I'm not finding much a a delta in performance. I did briefly try 6v in my grande, and proceeded to fry my carto in seconds... yeah, I don't yet know much. But they both hit very well, and the mini's performance leaves nothing left to desire. It rocks. The Grande will be especially nice, once I find my all day Juice. For now, as I switch juices out a bit, I can't even see myself filling a whole 6ml of anything. Having said that, the the Grande is still amazing. It will sit on my desktop, and I will always know it's good to go. I won;t need to surround it with carts/bottles/napkins/batts/etc. This thing just keeps going.

If I had to pick one, however, I would so far say it's all mini. I wasnlt prepared for the difference in size, until I saw them in-person. I find the mini to be a pocket-friendly size, but the Grande is too big. So, I would say get both. If you can only get one, and mobility is important, you might want to think mini. You may, however, have to carry around an extra batt & bottle, that you wouldnlt have to with a Grande. But I'm really too new to know.

One question for you Reo Vets - what do you do about door "slippage", when pocketing your mini? I love the magnet door, but am so far finding the fact that the door slides, when I pocket it, to be a bit annoying. Does anyone have any tricks & tips on that that they could share?

Overall, however, I love both of my new Reos!

Woot!! I just make sure to grab both sides of the REO when I am slipping it into/out of my pocket.

Put a wrap of black tape on the battery and use it like a handle to remove the battery. It will also tighten up the door a bit.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I will go with the mini. I would like to get some batteries ordered first cause I would probably go crazy having the mod arrive first and not be able to use it! I was just wondering, everyone recommends the aw imr's for LR, but I plan to use SR atties, so would this still be the best battery to get?

Check this guy out...

RTDVAPOR.com

He doesn't have much variety, but his entire shop seems to be set up specifically for Reo customers. All the batts, atties, etc. are are for Reos. If you're going with a Reo, you should consider a LR atty too. And that combo with the charger/14500 batts/case/etc. is a good deal. The case is perfect for the mini, btw, as it holds 4 botttles of juice and/or batts just right.

Yes, the AW IMR's actually maintain longer effective voltage than batteries with higher mAh. Also, they are the safest batteries, and the smaller batteries like the 14500 operate under more stress than the larger ones.
