There's a much bigger difference between the T3 and the Mini Protank in my opinion - the Mini Protank actually works!

I suggest you skip the T3 - I could never get the darn thing to work consistently. I didn't expect much of the original Protank based on my experience with the T3, but I had to get one to see what all the fuss was about. I was absolutely blown away - the difference is night and day. The Mini Protank performs just as well as it's big brother and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Please do not assume your experience was all telling. There are literally 10's of thousands of T3's on the market and working fine.

I have not found a Kanger produce that is an actual FAIL yet - even including the lowly T5, built to directly compete with ce4/ce5's.

I would never assume - it makes an "..." out "u" and "me"! Hence my use of the word "suggest", crxess.

In my opinion, the T3 is a "FAIL", though - especially given that there were two versions floating around for some time, one of which was so bad that PBusardo had to post an addendum to his Clearomizer Shootout.

There are literally hundreds of people on this forum who would agree with me on this, but, then again, 99% of statistics are made up on the spot! ;)

I got one this morning and its the bomb. Its in the upper 90 here and I took a ProTank 2 attached to a ego battery and my mini ProTank attached to an ego battery outside. With in a few short seconds my ProTank was flooding and gurgling but the mini stayed clear and never flooded. I don't know why. Same set up. The Mini is the way to go.

Wonder if anyone ever considered, If you take the base from a known Good T3 and screw it onto a Known Bad T3.........The Bad T3 should now be the Good one.

In all seriousness, all these Top and Bottom coil tanks have one working section in common. The coil section.
If Any tank is normally good in design then any poorly working version should be reasonably correctable.
This applies to All decent Designs regardless of manufacturer.

I love PBusardo reviews, but Phil can and does overlook the simplest things. I have posted and received replys on a few.

PB's Poorly functioning T3 - never did he think to Replace the wick with the one from his GOOD unit. This would have immediately pointed to Wick/coil issues or Tank defect.

I Will say, also Most-Manufacturers, wick coil assemblies are horrid for Q.C. - Contaminants crop up and coils need to be soaked before use. Poor assembly, OMG sometimes horrible coils, abound.

I really believe 90+% of complaints have nothing to do with the particular tank as it simply holes liquid and has an air path, but rather are due to poor fluid transfer/vaporization - coil assembly.

Food for thought.:)

Glass, for corrosive juices would be THE reason.

I'm probably going to get 1 mini, just so I can know if it happens to be a better draw or something - but I like T3Minis and EVODs, too...

I am a huge fan of the EVOD (clearomizer) -- is there any good reason why I would switch to the mini ProTank?

Even better question: Will a glass tank like that break in my pocket or when I toss it onto my desk?

I feel like the mini compliments the Evod quite well. They can share coils.

Glass tank breakage will occur. They will not survive dropping 5 feet onto concrete. Care must be taken, though not an unreasonable amount.
