I am a hardcore gadget junkie - I even build gaming computers for a living, but the Halo setup is really not leaving me wanting for anything more at the moment.

I see myself eventually trying out some of the DIY mods that people talk about here. It's a lot of info to take in, and most of it's like Mandarin to me so far. But I learn fast, and I'd never bet against my tech addiction taking over my vaping career some day. And thank goodness for ECF!

I said the same thing. For a week...

With your technical background this stuff is going to be A B C simple for you. It just needs a little time to soak in. You're still in that it's all new to me 7 yr old in Disney world phase. That will wear off quickly as it will start to make sense rapidly for someone again, that has that tinkering gene. And you'll be building and modding away.

Not overwhelmed. However, I have lurked for months before actually joining and buying my first APV. i had decided on a Halo Triton and like most, I dreaded the wait. While continuing my research, I ran across a B&M that made their own e-cig, and a video review. All indictions were that they were far above the norm. Lifetime warranty and run by a young couple. I called them the next day and they were on backorder. After a little pleading, i walked out of there with a unit, batteries, juices, clearomizers, additional coils, and I became a customer for life.

i find that that kind of customer service is much like ECF; you can find plenty of help and support regardless of what you want to do.

what are you using for your wick and what did the resistance come out to on your build

3mm for the wick. About 1.5 ohms (I think). I have since added a wrap and it's inhalable, but actually a bit light. I need to keep playing with it. Maybe tighter wraps?
