Mini Protank 2 crooked assembly

So I disassembled my Mini Protank 2 (v2) to clean it up nicely. Put the glass o-rings in their place and screwed both upper and lower base (holding the glass) together. I tried several times, but I just couldn't get it completely straight. Now my Mini PT2 is slightly crooked. It works fine, but it's not completely straight and my OCD is sort of acting up a bit.

Could this be an issue?
Any suggestions on how to do it right?

You probably cross threaded it. Just make sure when it starts it goes on easy, otherwise you bind the threads.

I actually went in easy. I think the o rings pushed the glass a bit on one side (both upper and lower o rings).

Had this happen more than once. Make sure glass o-rings are not twisted. I find it easier to start by seating the bottom then gently seat the top and screw nice and tight. If the o-ring is twisted you can expect it to leak at some point. if not curently leaking I think it may be the upper part.

I just tried to screw both bases without the glass. I think I got it this way, looks like the upper base screws in ever so slightly crooked.

You might be right, I think it might be the upper base o ring that's pushing the glass a bit. I got it a bit better now, but still not 100% straight. This will teach me NOT to completely disassemble mpt2 next time I buy a new one lol.

I had this problem with my pt3 i mean I disassembled it many times to try to get it right and one time I just got tired and bent it straight n now it sits upright

well it's a bit over a week old mpt2, and I've found info on the Internet that the o rings are not the same anyways. The bigger (thicker) one is for the lower base, the thinner one for the upper base.

mines always crooked too. Believe it or not, I also have a PT2 Clone and it's crooked too! haha yes I know, and I even paid more for the clone than the real one...figured you would get a chuckle. Rookie mistake

Also if your using an ego c twist or a battery of that like sometimes the connector will come apart slowly and sometimes one side lifts up more making it seem crooked.

I know my mpt2 glass wasnt cut straight, and I fix the problem by not over tightening it. no leaks, and 98% straight.
