Up until now I've been able to use it and rebuild it a couple times without issues. Of course now it started to gurgle so I took it apart and the rubber ring on one side of the glass was shredded a bit so without thinking I tore it off.

1. Am I going to have to buy a new glass
2. Can I use it without this ring or will it just leak
3. If it is really needed why would they make it shredable

Also it flooded my battery? Like how does that even happen.

It was gurgling and welling up under my drip tip so that's why I took it apart and are having all this issues.

I'd love tips for this tank and how to prevent it/deal with it without wanting to cry.

Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about the white gasket on the coil stem? If so then just replace the coil. If your talking about an o-ring that is on the base then you can buy a new base here:

510 Kanger Protank Base

The leaking into the battery is because there is an air hole in the coil body that goes up into the coil/wick area. If this floods it drips down into the battery area

Haven't tried the mini but have the bigger pt2.. I have noticed here where its cold going from cold to warm has caused my evods to flood a few times. Now after I come inside I keep the upside down until they warm up.

I would suggest building another coil and see if the coil is the issue. The rubber oring for the glass may no cause an issue if it was flooding before you took it off.

hello,

so what I believe your saying is when you dis-assemble the mini protank
on the top of the glass tube the "o-ring" stuck to it (it has happened to me)
then due to user error you either over tightened it and cut the o ring
or you got it in crooked and cut it...

either way o ring is now bad and in turn you can not maintain a vacuum and
your tank gurgles and leaks thru into your battery

only answer is to replace the o ring...

I took my stuck on o ring off and installed it into the base and lubed it with e juice
so it would no longer be sticky...

good luck

there was a rubber ring glued to only one side of the actual glass, on top of the rim

I have that same tank for about 2-3 weeks.
Coil needs to be changed "every two weeks".
I still have original in ( just starting ecigs & have not
completely given up the stinkies yet.)

Mine was put together by store clerk & started
gurgling a couple hours later.

Gurgles

if it gets to half full & lower so keep it full -

if coil is a lemon.

It's recommended the entire thing be disassembled and cleaned
every month. Isopropyl alcohol. 5-10 soak. Rinse in hot water,
blow tubs out, overnight to dry.
Care instructions that I received with mine - not manufactures.

I haven't disassembled mine or husbands yet so I'm not sure what rings we have.

So I only had one o ring since the tank only had one o ring glued on only one side so I put the oring in the top of the piece that sits the drip tip that would make a seal for where the glass sits (which is where the juice was leaking from when I just tried to put the glass back on without any o rings and vape from it, I'm very impatient. So I have the tank upside down with the juice down on the side where the ring is and where it was leaking to see if this works:)

no, one o-ring stuck to glass (mistake)

other o-ring is in the bottom base part (where it should be)

see if you can view this picture, if you look close you can see
an o-ring in each silver part (on either side of glass tube)

where did you get an o-ring ?

alright so I put my oring in the fourth from the left piece (the top?) and that has stopped the leakage. My mini came with an extra. Or maybe they forgot to put it on the stupid thing. Either way as of now it has stopped leaking even without an o ring.

OKAY WE'RE ALL GOOD

So I just checked the base to see if it has an oring with the thought maybe it had one without me noticing and that's why it's the top part that was leaking since I had taken off it's oring that was mistakingly glued to the glass. Yup the bottom piece already has an oring. So that's why putting it in the top worked. YAYYY!

Kanger states they use no glue in these models. Are you sure it's glue and not gummed up PG/VG?

All I know is I remember when I got it that the oring was stuck on the rim of the glass tube. I thought it was weird and actually was very confused by the diagram because it showed two o rings and I only had one I thought at the time (the one on the rim) (I didn't see the one inside of the base). And seeing as I had to tear it off of the rim after it got shredded, and some of the ring stayed on a little like how it would if there was an adhesive... I don't know.
