Not trying to be too simplistic, but if that happens again, loosen it with hot water and be very gentle and remove it with a shaved piece of wood like a toothpick or popscicle stick so as not to damage the glass, metal or o-ring. Plastics, including silicone, tend to be very sticky when they are new or shortly after full tactile cure. The stuck-ness could be simply from the o-ring being put in before it actually fully cured and degassed.

Just my guess. Of course if you have 100 of those babies, rip away. :)

That would make total sense:) But it was already shredded so taking off nicely wouldn't have helped anything, as the seal wouldn't have held up. I just order six more of them so I think I will be all good now:)

. . . I agree with this and believe it is what is happening from Kanger :2c:

Where did you buy only 6? I only saw a link for the 100.
I need to get extra coils and probably orings. I am still working off what I got with my starter kits.

not a bad price from a 'premier' kanger vendor ;)

- Kanger Protank Glass O-Rings - Sun-Vapers.com

- Kanger Protank eVod atomizer heads in 1.8 2.2 and 2.5 ohm for $5.79

I have that same tank for about 2-3 weeks.
Coil needs to be changed "every two weeks".
I still have original in ( just starting ecigs & have not
completely given up the stinkies yet.)

Mine was put together by store clerk & started
gurgling a couple hours later.

Gurgles

if it gets to half full & lower so keep it full -

if coil is a lemon.

It's recommended the entire thing be disassembled and cleaned
every month. Isopropyl alcohol. 5-10 soak. Rinse in hot water,
blow tubs out, overnight to dry.
Care instructions that I received with mine - not manufactures.

I haven't disassembled mine or husbands yet so I'm not sure what rings we have.

I HIGHLY recommend using PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol - Everclear) and NOT Isopropyl for anything related to ecigs other than maybe cleaning the battery tube. Remember, Isopropyl is for TOPICAL use only, while PGA is for "drinking" (yeah, try it and you'll see why it's in quotes!) ... As always ... YMMV!
