Everytime i screw on a carto it shorts my mini but my atomizers work fine. Anyone ran into this before? I already PM'd Rob just awaiting reply. Its gonna suck sending it in and being without it while it gets fixed.

yeah thought it was a bad carto then i got a new order in today and tried two more with the same result. It sucks sending back a new toy lol.
Make sure you send one of the cartos into Rob too. The center post may be off.
look at the top of the battery when you press the button down. Also the spring under the battery will get hot and glow red then collapse if you continue to press it down.
and have u used a voltmeter to see what ur batts are giving off could be a problem
Yeah pretty much. A tiny spark right when contact is made happen sometimes and doesn't mean you have a short.
kinda scary... have you played with the center piece of the cart?? You can adjust them a little bit...

This happened on my woodville. It was the small o ring in the feeder where the carto makes contact. It it is all that keeps the negative and positive leads from touching. When you screw in the carto or atty it compresses it to much and causes an arc when you fire it. It was a simple fix for me but i have not seen the connection on the grands or minis. Hope this helps
Also...if you screw them on too tight it can squeeze the "insulator" ring so that contact between the positive center and the negative outside can be the cause. If you send your mod in to Rob, make sure you send the cartos you are using with it so he can check it all out.
Did you test the cartos with an ohm meter before you tried them? I try to check mine but sometimes forget. I have used a lot of boge 2.0 cartos without any problems (knock wood).
