I cant find were to buy a Mini vivi nova.If I do find one what Omh's do I got...........
1.8 Ohm Low Resistance
2.4 Ohm Regular Resistance
2.8 Ohm High Resistance

I still don't under stand the Ohm thing :-(

I have a ego twist if that helps.
Thank all :blush:

Hello,

Mini Vivi Nova new version (V2.5):
GotVapes Vision Mini ViVi Nova™ 2.5ml 2.4ohm [gv-MiniViViNova510-2.4ohm] - $9.45 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Replacement Heads (1.8Ohm):
GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ Twist-On Replaceable V2.5 Head 1.8ohm [gv-VIVNOVA-CoilHeadONLY-1.8] - $2.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

The eGo twist is very good i have two and they are inexpensive a the VV thingy makes them very flexible.

Now, they deal with the "Ohms thing" - Resistance and the Voltage (from 3.2V to 4.8V in your Twist) comes back to the Ohm's Law:

W (power) = V (voltage)^2 / R (resistance)

Now in vaping terms that doesn't say much but to be practical i'll tell you which Voltage I set my Twist for certain Resistance on the Vivi Nova Mini:

For 1.8Ohm Between 3.5V - 4.0V -> 8.8Watts max
For 2.4Ohm Between 4.0V - 4.5V -> 8.4Watts max
For 2.8Ohm Between 4.5V - 4.8V -> 8.2Watts max

For me, i don't want to go over 9Watts in a carto or a Vivi Nova because you will surely shorten the lifespan of the wick/coil (Vivi) or the filling material (Cartomizer). On an atomizer i can control how "wet" the coil so you can go way over 9Watts for hotter and tastier vapor. For example I have my LR Atty (1.5Ohm) running at 4V (10.67Watts).

Now all this numbers come to having the best experience by preserving the integrity if the heating element and/or wicking material to the max. So you can always go to lower Volts (that the ones i set as minimum) if you find the vapor production and the flavor acceptable and is really easy to do so with the eGo twist.

I know a rambled a lot but these are my rules of thumb, now other peps might be more or less conservative but at the end you just need to set it by taste and not by numbers having in mind that overpowering the coil can cause shorten lifespans or even damage to it (Your battery will be just fine though). So i recommend buying some replacement heads (i did bought 5 1.8Ohm heads) just in case the vapor start tasting funky (burned).

Good Luck.

PS: English is not my first language and write this in a hurry without checking so i probably made a lot of mistakes.

Edit: Sorry, gotvapes sold out.

I'd go with the 2.4 heads on a twist, I think it will give you the biggest range of wattage to play with, especially since almost any head I've gotten was atleast .2 above what it was rated. You will hit the amp limit with a 1.8 at about 3.9 volts, giving a shorter range of choices since turning it up higher than that won't do anything, and you'll barely hit 8 watts with the 2.8, and that's assuming it's not actually 3.0 or a 3.1. Anyway, I'd buy 2.4 Ohm to give you the most choices.

I was under the impression that the limit for the Twist was 2.5A, pbusardo did a review and measured it.

Thanks so much!!!

I was looking for them too. Gotvapes had them on sale, but their sold out. Then I just noticed in FB that altsmoke just got them back in. Already placed my order. I like the fact you can choose your extra two heads since I don't like or use the 1.8ohm head

Rewick the wick and coil when you get your mini=endless supply of heads. I posted on method or search for way to do it--really worth the time. I just made 4 great cotton wick coils and have 15 in a bag... Worth the time and small investment if you like the mini/2.5.

ALTSMOKES FIRSTORDER discount does not work. And their priority mail charge sucks.
