My Grand rebuild kit arrived and I installed it last night. Other than spending 20 minutes trying to find the white gasket after dropping it, I had no issues following Rob's video and getting it all done. My old Grand feels new again. Everything is nice and tight and the misfires are gone.
My only issue is the fire button. It seems to easily slip into the off position, or perhaps more accurately - it's slipping out of the on position just slightly after every hit or two. Anybody have a quick fix for this?

My first rba is here too, but the kanthal wire is taking a little longer to arrive, so I'm still a few days away from my first coils. Hopefully I'll get the wire before the long weekend and get to spend some time without skipping sleep to do it.
Thanks!

If your trigger digit is off center you are turning it when you drag it off.

fix 1 make sure your finger or thumb is centered or in position to put a counter clockwise pressure when you drag it off
fix 2 lift your trigger digit straight off the button when you are done firing
fix 3 as above remove the safety lock pin

The trigger deal isn't really an issue for me, though I have noticed it brought up by others relatively often through various threads... I have always had the habit of kind of snapping my finger off the trigger. I've done that with all my mods from very early on just because a few of them had buttons or issues where it would fire for a half second or so after I released the button (usually the VV mods) - so the quicker I could get my finger off after a satisfying hit, the better it was for the next hit. I don't have that issue with the REO, but that trigger snap is a habit that carried over and may seem to help with the issue of the trigger moving to lock position after firing.
