Rebuild Kit Issue

I did a rebuild on one of my Grands... Yay me.

I think I'm having an issue.

Battery meters at 3.89

1.05 Ohm coil

Getting a ton of voltage drop.

Did I do something wrong? The other grands don't seem to have the same drop. Noalox is on the firing pin.

I watched the video and did the reassembly.


Well decided to check another grand...

Battery: 3.86
RM2: .99
Firing: 3.26


Is there an issue with the RM2?

I don't know where the issue is. Perhaps I didn't need a rebuild kit in the first place. Maybe an issue with the RM2...

Nope, Just switched Rm2's between devices. Had the same issue.



So I did something wrong in the rebuild I guess.

Let this serve as a lesson.

If you have this issue...

Make sure the negative spring is centered on the battery.

It wan't making complete contact on the battery.

All is well.

That's a fact. I double checked all the others...that's how paranoid I am.
