The reason debate belongs in this thread is because you are not only telling YouTube to put a stop to minors vaping but EVERYONE vaping. You are doing as much harm as the kids are by telling YouTube vaping is a "Harmful Dangerous Acts > Drug abuse".
This would explain why rumor is YT has been going after any video that contains smoking and removing them or disallowing monetization. Keep this up and they'll be doing the same with all vaping if they're not already.

They can't write a bot to filter out minors, they can write one to filter out any mention of vaping or e-cigs.

You've been to the debate thread, you posted there.
nicotine is a drug. Minor's using that drug is abuse.
Bots don't take down the videos, people who work at youtube review the flags and take them down at their consideration.
furthermore i have been running a version of this thread for 2+ years and normal age appropriate ecig videos are plentiful on youtube.

And by you making a thread to post videos in to have people flag them you are doing an end around the debate so people don't get both sides.

Bots do take down videos. You won't get a human review until you contest the removal. False flagging is a common way to harass people on YT.
I had one of my monetized videos get the ads suspended because of copyright. The video was me knitting socks with a very old method and no written pattern with no background noise. No human looked at it before suspending it or else it wouldn't have been suspended. Once I contested it the ads were back.
I've also known people who've had bots mute their sound because it picked up music. It happens way too fast for any human to review it.
You obviously have no idea how YT works. This is another reason this should be stopped.

If YT keeps getting e-cig complaints they will shut down all e-cig use. No different than what the anti-smokers have been doing with cigarettes. I'm sure they've been at it for more than 2 years and there are still plenty of videos with smoking but that doesn't change the fact that some people's smoking videos are removed.

he says in the video don't flag because he says that he's 18.
But his channel discription said he was 16 before his first video was flagged.
Also, heres a snippit of a comment he left one someone elses vid:

For those that don't want to sit through 7 minutes of this:
These clearly underage kids are using an ecig in this video, passing it around back and forth. They talk about how one kid stole it from the local convience store, then they talk about planning to go steal another one.

This video needs more flaggs.

These two videos are a perfect example of the younger generations complete and utter stupidity!!! I have a 16 yr old, I always tell her to never text anything or video anything she would not want her mother to see. Kids just put this kind of stuff out there all the time! It's so ridiculous!! Do they not know that there could be consequences for posting all these things that can be viewed as illegal?

At the same time, I gotta wonder if this will blow back on us? What the heck can we do about kids who steal them?? Everyplace I have ever seen them for sale they have either been in a locked case or behind the counter, not possible to steal them. I think part of the problem is that these disposables are easy to steall because they are small.

Which brings me to my next question. I know it's illegal to sell tobacco to minors, but does anyone know what happens if someone under age gets caught? Do they really "charge u with smoking" underage? And what about the vendors? I know there are stiff fines and possible loss of your license for selling booze to minors, but I don't know about tobacco. Does anyone know?

My daughter, like I said , just turned 16, and is a sophomore. I asked her if anyone in her group of friends smoked. She told me there were a couple who had one every now and then and one that smoked pretty regular. When I was her age (think big hair days, lol ) most of my girlfriends smoked on a regular basis, so I was glad to see that maybe the trend of them starting around that age seems to be going down a bit.

I have to say tho, if any of my girls started smoking, first of all I would be very disappointed, especially since they have watched my struggle with analogs. But if they did it anyway, I would have no problem switching them to a pv, reguardless of their age. If my 16 yr old was hooked, u bet I would switch her in a heart beat. To me the age thing has no bearing on the fact that it's an addiction. I would be trying to wean her down tho, not giving her a vape to do instead of, but to get off of smoking. Which of course would make me a hypocrit......o who knows

If the underage are truly addicted to smoking and unable to quit, I applaud the parents who would "help" them out with and e-cig, but at the same time, there would have to be good communication and education (and trust)- not to show it off to friends at school, etc. The publicity such as on YouTube subverts our efforts to convince those who have the power to regulate e-cigs (heaven forbid- ban them) that e-cigs are not kid oriented and are not a "gate way" to smoking.

Everyone knows if not all a big % of smokers starts at a very young age , i dont understand whats the big deal with these other than getting more attention to it.....
I agree- we are just linking video after video of underage vapers to the ECF...not good in my opinion.
If you want to fight it, go to Youtube and fight it there by asking them to ban the video.

I'm 19 and i look a lot younger... some say 14 or 15 actually and some one on here posted my video here and kept threatening me. If I was really a child I would have been put off by ecigarettes and would have taken the alternative...

.

thumbs downed, flagged, link posted to electronic cigarette forum. profile says age 17. Minor abusing nicotine
Not very threatening imho. If your profile hadn't said age 17 there wouldn't have been an issue. But now you say you are 19? Then why didn't your profile say as much.

Hell, just to piss you off, i'll get some of my minor friends to use it with me. That'll be what my channel's all about. This is what you sent to me, now that is a threat.
