Hello,
Let me first introduce myself and tell you my story.

I have been smoking for about 2 years, I'm 21 and know I need to stop before it's too late, but I like being able to just chill and smoke. It's calming.

I tried njoy's about a year and a half ago. Terrible.. cheaply made.
I saw these Mistic E-cigs recently and gave them a shot, most people seemed to like them a lot for a store shelf available Ecig. I ended up loving them, I puffed on it all day. I currently have three batteries, each lasts me about a day, same with the carts which lasted about a day and a half.

I was a happy camper. I could smell things better. My truck didn't smell like smoke anymore. Two solid weeks vaping and happy as can be.

Then I go to the local Pilot truck stop to get another pack of refills and BAM. Shelves empty.

I immediately panicked. I asked the clerk when the next shipment was going to come in. "We don't know, they just send them randomly to us."

GREAT answer.... -_-
So I started calling other places that stocked them.
"We don't carry them anymore" "We're out of stock" "We don't plan on carrying those anymore."

Panicked again, bought a pack of analogs, ...... as hell.
Emailed the company asking what the deal was, they said they can't keep up with demand but a shipment should arrive in the next 5-7 business days.

However, all this time waiting is really just making me want to try something different/better.
I don't even like smoking analogs anymore. The Mistics tasted so much better, and no God awful coughing in the morning from smoking too many. I just need my nic.

I know there is a million different options out there, and I need to be treated like a kindergartener in Ecig class.
I know some poeple don't like the Mistics, but they were good for me. The vapor was equivalent to smoke, which I liked. Not excessive or obnoxious vapor.

So I guess I'm looking for something similar, at a decent price point.

If anyone would be willing to throw some advice and options my way, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You can order the Mistics online. Electronic Cigarettes - Mistic Electronic Cigarettes
(Sorry, don't know how to make a pretty link in this forum) Or you might like to look into Smokeless Image. Very good prices, lots of choices and accessories, super customer service and fast shipping. Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette They have some great starter kits there....also juice in addition to prefills and blank cartomizer and tanks. Good luck!!

There is a supply shortage company-wide. The website does not have refills either.

I was looking at the Volt by Smokeless Image. How is that? How long does the 65mm battery last and how long does a cart last?
Are there a variety of cart options that will thread onto it just fine?
How does chocolate taste?
Also, is the Automatic style the kind that I can just pull out of my pocket and just puff on? I assume the "manual" one has a switch or something.

The Volts work great...I'm the wrong person to ask about how long they last because I'm a rabid heavy chain vaper and power through even a 1300 mAh battery in record time. But they last at least 3 hours I believe. Or close to it. I used to use their "stick" type batteries all the time, and never had a complaint about them. I've since "graduated" to their big battery: the X2. because of my extreme vaping habits.

The automatic works like you say..just pull it out of your pocket and vape. No buttons. Love the autos!! Any KR808D-1 threaded cartomizer or tank will fit on the Volt. Some will look better than others. One nice thing they offer is the XL cartomizer which holds about 1.7 ml. of juice (or in that neighborhood). They are also horizontal bottom coils...so the work excellent and last a long time. The average regular cartomizer from just about any vendor will last approximately 1/2 pack worth of cigarettes. Maybe a bit less for someone like me. They all say they are "a pack's worth"...but that is an exaggeration. Easy to refill with e-juice if you want. Or just stick to the prefills. Your choice. There are instructional videos on their site and lots of reviews and product descriptions to check out.

I highly recommend them. I've tried a LOT of different brands and vendors. This is one of the top of the heap.

The Mistic cartos I used lasted about a day and a half. The batt lasted about a day. Would this Volt be a good starter for me? I like being able to go all day at work without worrying about charging my battery.

Maybe I should get a 65mm and a 78mm and see if I can go a day with the small one, and just switch to the big one if it doesnt?

Btw how does the chocolate taste?

Sorry...I don't care for chocolate vapes, so I don't know. The few I've tried didn't go over well so I leave them alone now. Some people can get all day out of the 65mm....more can do it with the 78mm (which really isn't that long!) It all depends on your vaping style and how often you vape. There is no way to predict it. If something like that Mistic lasted you that well, there is no reason a better product like the Volt won't go as long or maybe longer for you. Good idea to get both sizes. The "shorty" really is a bit short...but good for some things. I have a few. If you get a kit you'll get more than one battery (which you should always have!) and that will help you get started until you figure out what you're going to need on a regular basis. Can never have too many batteries. Ever!

Thanks, you've been a big help. What is the "sweet sampler" and the smooth and strong samplers? A variety of flavors or something?

Check out my videos on YouTube about the smokeless image products. I highly suggest the 78mm for the extra $1. The 65mm will last for about 2-3 hours of moderate vaping (one 4 second puff every minute). The 78mm will last for 3-4 hours. The 65mm with a carto attached is about the length of a normal analog and the 78mm is about the length of a 100 size analog.

They are very reasonably priced with great customer service and fast shipping (much cheaper than mistic and better too) There is also a 15% off coupon.

The sampler packs have one of each flavor of that type. For example, the sweet sampler has cherry, watermelon, grape, chocolate and vanilla. The strong has mint, ice menthol, menthol burst, classic grape and cappuccino. All of their cartos can be easily refilled up to 30 times at a faction of the cost of buying prefilled.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I quit a 1 1/2 pack a day habit the day I got my volt kit.

I've been looking at picking up a Volt from Smokeless Image ...

Are there Walgreens near you? Try the Blu E-cig. It was how I got into this ... and honestly, I love it. The battery could use a bit longer of a life, and they DO make a better battery you can buy in an online starter kit. But you can order refills online, or buy them in Walgreens.

I am only looking at the Volt as my SO seems to have taken a liking to my Blu pack and spare battery, and only having one battery is KILLING me!!!

You will love the Volt. I use the volt everyday. Great vapor and smooth taste. Yes they have a chocolata but I did not care for it. I have tried every sample and would recommend using those first to find what you like. I only use the ce3's for tons of vape and better flavor. Never taste burned. Go for the 78omh battery. It is a dollar more and will last 3/4 hrs of mod to heavy vaping. For home I use the x2 batteries..9/10 hrs works great for me (650). The cs is awsome. I smoked for 41 yrs and the volt keeps me from going back..Good luck

If you like the blu, you will love the Volt from SI. The battery lasts 3x longer, it's cheaper and the cartos are easily refilled.

I started with the blu and returned it because of the battery life and I had so many problems with the cartos.

Dragonfly eCigs - Distributor of Joyetech 510-T, eGO-T, 510, eGo, and large variety of MOD
Don’t forget the JOYE eGo Wall Charger
JOYE eGo Wall Charger (includes USB cable)
JOYE eGo Wall Charger (includes USB cable) (JOYEEGOWALLC)

Atomizer - I am still researching this, but so far I have been using the: CE3 Smokymizer - (2.8-3.1)

Any specific package I should look at getting? I'm still REALLY REALLY new to this, and all the terminologly makes almost no sense to me :-( but ya, I do like the Blu, I am going to ATTEMPT to refill some cartos tonight, my liquid got delivered today!

I know it's silly, but for now, having the smaller more cig looking units is helping me stay away from traditional smokes (they seem to be referred to as analogs here). Maybe one day I will go bigger and better, but I don't think I am ready for that step yet!!!

I puff maybe 10 times every half hour... if that might help give a better judge of battery time.
Is anyone using carts from other companies? I heard a lot of people like using Pink Spot cartos. Just seeing if there are other doors of flavor to try. I might go ahead and get the smooth sampler first.

That is not a lot at all. If you only took ten, 5 second puffs every half hour, the battery will last you about 8 hours. It's complicated math, but basically the 78mm battery is 320mah at 3.7v. It will fire the coil for roughly 14minutes and 24seconds total. So that equates to 864 seconds. You are only using 110 seconds of that per hour if you take 20 puffs an hour. (5 second puffs are long too. If you take shorter puffs, it will last longer)
