Cheap Trick was popular in my school. One memory pops out, though. We had a teacher who would give us assignments by saying something like, "I want you to do problems 1-20." One day, Tim E. could not restrain himself and, when she paused after saying "I want you..." to check her notes, busted out with "... to want me!" To this day, I don't know what he got on that assignment...

I used to hang out with a group of artists. They made all kinds of art, music and what not. This one was HIGH on the play list when we got toasted. Man did the shots flow when this came on the turntable or mixed tape.

#1 If you listen through to the end, this might be the *most beautiful* version of this song you will ever hear. Supposedly recorded from street musicians, I don't think I've ever gotten through it without a happy tear or two...

I see fire by Ed sheeran. The books from Tolkien have always been special. I read them when I was young and they helped me to fall in love with reading. The movies have been pretty great for a Hollywood take. But this song in the movie just brings back the feelings of the book.

This song reminds me of my grandmother. She loved Elvis and had all his records. I remember being a tiny little girl and going over to her house and she'd play this song and we'd dance around her living room.
When my daughters were babies, I would rock them to sleep playing Mario Lanza. This man has the most beautiful voice. I would love to have seen him singing in person.
This song always reminds me of Robin Williams dancing while doing housework in Mrs. Doubtfire. I used to do the same thing! My kids still tease me about it.

Another of my favorites is Ratt...I saw them in the 80's when they were at their best... and again early 90's...I see that they are still thinking about returning....
Bob Seger grew up in Michigan not too far from where I grew up. He used to play local dances before moving up to larger venues in the area. He was a rock star in Michigan and his songs were played regularly on our big radio stations long before he became an "overnight sensation". I've seen him perform live 3 times since then. This was one of his most popular songs back in the day before he became nationally famous.
