RDA mix and match

I wonder if I'm the only one to do something like this, either intentionally or otherwise. I broke 2 of the o-rings on my mutation 3a few weeks ago leaving it unusable, so I busted out my tugboat clone and used it instead, but I really like the build deck on the mutation, so I popped the ring off the tugboat deck and put the mutation deck with the tugboats tube(I dunno what the outer piece it's actually called, chimney?).
I've been using this hybrid setup for about 2 weeks now and works great doesn't have the airflow to make native clouds like the mutation but I rarely did that anyway,I can fog it up good enough with the 1/8" holes I have.
I call it the tugboat x. LOL
anyways, anyone else rig up an rda in this manner?

I had a mishmash velocity set, black bottom half and SS top half (and vice versa), but besides that I've really struggled to find parts that fitted well together with each other because the O-Rings seem to be very picky with the rda's I buy =[

Nothing major, I just swapped the top caps off my TOBH v2.5 clone and my Holmes V2. I think both look better with the other's top cap.

I am using an anarchist cap on my phenotype-l. I like the phenotype build deck, but didn't care for the airflow too much, the anarchist cap solved it for me.

Didn't hurt that I could color match my DNA200 with the anarchist cap.

I mated the Vector cap on the Stumpy base. It only took swapping the o-rings from the Vector base onto the Stumpy base. Stumpy base is 2-post and allows for a big 4mm quad-strand parallel single. Vector cap offers leak-free vaping with top airflow. Only thing I don't care for is the integrated mouthpiece of the Vector cap. I wish I could swap a different tip on there. SS tip gets hot.

They make a comp cap for the vector now that allows you to use your own drip tip.That's the only thing i don't like on the vector is that huge tip haha.

Thanks, it performs awesome too, really like the 2 post build deck on the phenotype, and with the anarchist cap airflow, its the perfect TC RDA for me. I don't really have any other photos, I could take more, but all I have for a camera right now is my crappy nexus 4 camera.

They make a comp cap for the vector now that allows you to use your own drip tip.That's the only thing i don't like on the vector is that huge tip haha.

Oh I like that idea! I really like the Phenotype-L, but my air control is pretty much open on the smallest slot. Might have to try and get myself another top cap.
