A truly great product doesn't need a warranty or service.Sadly two of my friends who had prov's had to use them.
I'm amazed that anyone buys any product without some sort of warranty. It's unfortunate (and highly unusual) that your friends had to use their warranty, but at least they did have a warranty to get their Provari's repaired.

Try that with the Chinese manufacturers and see how far you get. (Hint: there is no warranty, unless the vendor adds one themselves.)

I like the word "counterfeit" better in this context. I've made the mistakes, too- buy a "counterfeit" because the real thing is either too expensive or unavailable. Then, some folks walk around the vape meets, etc., blinging their new toy as if it's the real thing, and thinking they saved a bunch of money in the process. Then, the leaks start, the intermittent switch connections, the inferior finishes start to deteriorate, the cheap rubber parts fall apart, etc. Often, (I'm guilty of this on two occasions), we buy a *second* imitation hoping we get a "good one" this time. Well, we rationalize, at least we will have some spare parts to make ONE of them work right!
What have we gained in the process?

Incoming clone hate thread incoming. Thread will turn to crap in 2 pages.

But yeah, Provaris are bought because of the service and warranty, functionally they're outdated.

Don't buy apple stock.
They do not pay dividends.
Evil company that takes your investments but never pays a return.
Not a cent. Ever.
Fighting lawsuits from stockholders as we speak. So they can continue to NOT pay investors.

Apple is a scam from top to bottom.

Bad analogy!!

Someone is badly misinformed.

Apple pays a nice dividend. I have been receiving about $150 a quarter from Apple and they just raised the dividend again for next quarter and bought back tons of stock all of which is deigned to return money to stockholders. In June they are doing a 7 for 1 stock split. I don't know what more anyone could expect.

Apologies. You are right.
I was incorrect, ( mixed up 2 articles i read a while back) however apple is currently being sued for witholding earnings from sharhders.. To the tune of 32billion+!

I guess the hedge fund brokers that bought apple stock expect to be paid their fair share.
After more googling, it seems Apple has a history of withholding earnings from investors and paying execs stupendous salaries.

Truth is Apple is a large company and being sued constantly by someone. Similar to Microsoft back in the 80’s & 90's. Also Apple is not even close in paying exorbitant salaries to executives.

Well, it looks right. Of course in the past companies selling clones actually pictured an authentic device as opposed to what they are actually making/selling. Where is the site that is selling these?

Exactly. People don't buy the Provari for its looks, or even for any sort of advanced functionality (especially with the more advanced regulated mods out these days). They buy it because of a great warranty, customer service and durability. A clone without those things is really just a so-so looking and functioning mod.

This may be true in some cases, but in many others I'd argue that people buy a Provari because it has a long reputation as being the best APV on the market, even if that perception of the Provari is now outdated.

The Provari, by all accounts is an excellent APV, but, despite what many would have us believe, it isn't any longer the best APV to be found. This is a case of the Provari riding its own coat tails longer than perhaps is deserved.

It depends on how you vape and what you want from your mod. I'm rotating right now between a King with a .4ohm Kraken, a Penny with a .5ohm Brass Monkey, and a Provari Mini with a 1.2ohm Dripper Pro. I have to leave in 30 minutes to go to the doctor and guess which one's going with me? :) The Mini, because it's a great vape and I don't have to worry about it letting me down while I'm out.

I imagine if you look up Rainbow Heaven on alibaba.com you would find it. Rainbow Heaven is the manufacturer.

I looked, it wasn't on the site. That's why I contacted the author of the email and got the response that they do not have the "rights" to post the ad I posted. That hasn't changed as of 3PM today, it's still not there.

Provari mod clone - HOT Sale e-cigarettes - China - Shenzhen

Sorry, my techno skills are truly non-existant. But I found it here. Assuming this is even real, I really do not believe it will hurt ProVape in the slightest. They have a stellar reputation for quality and customer service. Rightfully so. Judging by the picture (which as I already said is probably a genuine Provari) it looks the same. But I seriously doubt it will come close in quality, and know it won't come with the customer service.

That finish looks like a brushed finish. Did ProVape ever come out with a brushed finish? Was reading a blog that stated they don't believe that type of finish is legit from ProVape, only polished and satin. I'm not a ProVari owner, so wouldn't know the difference myself.

Uninformed guy is uninformed.

Apple has paid very generous dividends for a few years now. In fact, they just raised them. Again.

And even if they didn't pay out dividends, which they do, you absolutely get a return WHEN YOU HAVE SOLD YOUR STOCK AFTER IT HAS MULTIPLIED MANY TIMES OVER as it has over the last decade.

But that could be said about any number of APVs.

I have no qualm with the Provari as a device. I'm sure it's wonderful. It's smug Provari users that bother me, especially now that there is very little reason to be smug concerning its performance as an APV. There are dozens of APVs that are superior in how they vape.
