So a few years ago i slowly lowered from 24-12 and got stuck there so I went back up to 20 and stayed there. Then I found out non-habit forming anti-anxiety drugs had been invented and took one, and I have so far gone from 20-2.75. 2.75 is appearing to possibly hard though as my 2.75 disappeared quickly, so I’m making a second bottle (I’m doing 100ml bottles) of 2.75. After 2.75 the plan is 2.5, 2.25, etc.. the last one wasn’t chaining exactly, but it did go fast, and .25ml is my tightest easy measurement which means I’d have to totrate a bottle of base to get 2.625, so I’m just doing 2.75 twice. If this is fine (and I think it will be) next comes 2.5

Good luck Bomb. You’re almost there.

I’ve been down to zero nic for about two months now. For about 10 years I made 18mg/ml juice. I had thought about reducing my nic, but I always heard that it drastically reduces the throat hit, so I kept putting it off.

Then a couple years ago, I reduced the nic in a 60 ml bottle of juice by 1 ml and increased the PG by 1 ml. Every few months, I reduced the nic by another 1 ml and increased the PG 1 ml. Eventually I got down to 0 nic.

The funny thing is I really can’t tell much difference. I still get enough throat hit, and I still vape as much as ever.

hmmm…
two months is longer than I thought it would take, but two months and nothing is kinda wild. Even if it’s two years though I suspect it’s still a win.

Still mix my base 50/50 at 12.4xx mg/ml, but then dilute it with flavoring.
Before covid I was mixing 1ml/30 of flavoring, post covid I have to mix 3 in 30 just to have any taste at all.
The only good news is that I only vape about 2 ml/day now.
This is why I went back up to 20. I vaped less.

When I began this journey, the premium juice I was buying was 21 mg/ml. Then I was regularly buying pre-made nic at 24 mg/ml and usually adding flavor(s). For quite a while now I've been mixing down 100 mg/ml to 25 mg/ml (with PG & VG in the 75/25 80/20 range) but now only sometimes adding flavor. I have to refill a 2.5 ml RTA about every 3-5 days..

For now, if vape over 3 mg/ml, my throat would feel like little mosquito sting.
For me anyway, the 'mosquito sting' effect has always been more related to PG levels than nicotine levels. I absolutely love that phrase and I'll probably start using it in my occasional 'vape/tobacco/cigarette/combustion' discussions with a person. Thanks for coining it!
