mixing 12mg base with 0mg base = 6?

Pretty basic math, but I'm curious if there is anything I need to pay attention to. I bought some pre-made base that is 12mg nic, 50/50 I'm thinking I want a lower nic level. is it safe to mix another bottle of 50/50 with 0nic to make a 6mg nic bottle? I don't see what the problem would be. Would I need to wait a period of time for it to properly mix the nicotine?

Obivously I would shake it well before using, but is there any thing else I should do if I were to do this? I don't want to waste the product.

Should work fine ,shake both well beforehand

The math is good! Just make sure they are both shaken to hell before, and after mixing just to be sure
