Mixing confusion. Why does it taste different with nicotine than no nicotine...?

I'm new on this but, why is it when I'm mixing the very same flavor with a 18% nicotine and then do it in a nicotine free juice it tastes different when the nicotine I'm using is supposed to be flavorless...? Shouldn't it taste the same either way...?

When they say unflavored nicotine, they mean no additional flavorings were added. Nicotine solution does have a flavor.

Flavorless nicotine merely means that no flavoring agents have been added to the liquid. However, nicotine itself has a peppery taste naturally, so it adds that aspect to whatever liquid you add it to.

Yep! I normally vape 6-9 nic. Tried hubby's 0 nic of same flavor. Tasted bland to me. Forget the nicotine hit, I like the flavor it adds to my juices!
