Is it the norm that a juice with less nicotine tastes better than one with higher nicotine ?

I've found that to be the case, personally. I think it's more because at higher levels, the nicotine "taste" begins to overshadow the flavoring. But, as is often said here, everybody's taste is different!

I really think that I want them to taste just sweet, or anything other than nicotine or tobacco...
I have some 24mg on order for different flavors but once I try them, they might not be my cup of tea. I think that I can vape 18mg all day and be happy and have more taste.
For all of your help Rosa I think I owe you a few bottles of high mg that I might decide I don't want ;)

LOL! I'm always up for a freebee, but hold onto any juice you don't like right now because you can always get a doubler later and adjust the strength or flavor to be just what you like. :)

Nicotine makes the flavor more peppery.

PG lets through more flavor but also lets through the most of nicotine's harshness
VG gives a smoother and somewhat sweeter vape with more visible vapor

And sometimes a liquid will just vary a bit from batch to batch

Also - the longer a liquid sits it can gain flavor from the flavoring melding together better and any floweriness of some flavorings wearing off

That is a great suggestion !! and an excuse to buy more juice hehe

for finding what pg/vg/nic level you like best, I'd suggest getting several small bottles of liquid all the same flavor (one you already know u like) in different vg/pg blends and nic concentration, that way the flavor acts as a "control" so you can tell how much the pg/vg/nic changes affect how you like your juice.
