I posted this accidently in the General eliquid discussion so sorry for the double post.

There are 5 of us vaping on our shop floor. It's a wonderful thing. A year ago there was only one. So today I shared some of my first DIY with two of them and it was a big hit. They were stopping by my bench and sipping on the bottle all day and I had fun teasing them about it. [Edited]

But I digress. The reason I'm sharing is because I want them to start DIY, then we can try each other's flavors, etc. Today what we all vaped was Capella's cappuccino flavor at 3.5%, 12 mg 50/50. So now I'd like some advice about other flavors that work as a single ingrediant. We're talking tradesmen, electricians. We won't be joining the cookbook club. What other flavors do well on their own? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If I recall, I liked:
Capella's CA Sugar Cookie 10-15% and Chocolate Coconut Almond- 8-10%
Flavor West FW Cinnamon Roll 10-15%
The above all should receive a 2 week min. natural steep to get a decent idea of satisfaction.
Could try them right away then after a week etc.
I can not think of a standalone in my recipe list that is a true stand alone. The above should be good. A mix becomes great when I tailor it to me by adding something to the mix.

One Stop DIY has some fantastic flavors. Blue Raspberry Slushie is a big hit with a few of my coworkers and a great price. Check out the reviews - very simple to use, no need for gourmet recipes.
Appreciated. Things haven't gone completely smooth with my promotion idea. They are VERY insterested in free liquid but not so interested in DIY. I'm not going to be a charaity or in the juice business. Just encourage others to try DIY. There is an upfront investment. I couldn't see a way to make a first order smaller than $100. Now I'm giving away my pre mix stuff.

I've decided I'm not going to be in the mixing business but I have decided what ever amount of nic I decide to stockpile it has to be x2 because I have a brother I would share with if his supply of pre mix was interfered with. The way I figure stockpiling, even if I had to discard nic someday because of spoilage the cost is still cheap insurance. What I'd like to find now is a recipe for liquid that produces minimal visible vapor. At work there are times when visible vapor doesn't matter and other times when I'd like the activity to be more discrete. One company in GB demonstrated a low visibility vapor on youtube but I have yet to find a recipe.

For stealth vaping 100% PG is how you make the least amount of vapor. The less vg the less vapor. Also, raise the nic level right to the level that you can't stand it then back it off just a little and that is your nic. level. The higher your nic. level the less you need to hit it to scratch the itch.

I just got a message from an e-cig forum admin that this thread or one of the posts or some wording is a violation of rules about commercial promotion activities? The email isn't specific. I'm not participating in any aspect of the ecig business, not selling anything and not planning to. (If I was younger things might be different.) Besides providing for myself and my brother the politics interests me the most.

P.S. May be I get it now. In the first post I discussed my cost of making DIY, etc. That conversation with coworkers was meant for humor at the time and I retold the conversation in the same spirit. What I figured out showing my DIY to coworkers is I won't be mixing for them. It's a slippery slope.

Issy mentioned charging and that is a big no-no in this sub forum. You didn't do anything wrong. I think the rule is a little strict but it is what it is and we signed the user agreement so.........
Okay, as before I was joking with the coworkers and told the story here. In the mean time one of the most potent arguments I use to persuade smokers to consider switchinng is the saving in cost if you are willing to rebuild and mix. Time shouldn't be an issue. Lately I rebuild once a week (15-30 min) and mix a batch of DIY once a month (15-30 min). I used to spend an hour a day standing outside smoking.

I have never found any flavors that are good on their own. Most mixes of mine have at least 4 different flavors in them. But I do remember when I first started DIY I was happy with just one flavor for a tank or two. Keep up the good work. Very rewarding DIY and sure does cheapen things down moneywise. CHEERS!

Just be honest and up front with your co workers I did. I told them hey it's easy to do but I don't have the time nor money to do it for everyone. If you want I will show you or in my case I charge them half what a vape store would. Some make their own some I sell too. Others well they pay vape store prices some went back to cigs. Don't beat yourself up

I'm grateful to be off cigs. I'm grateful the boss supported the effort by letting us vape on the shop floor. I'm going to encourage the other vapers in the shop every reasonable way I can. But even though liquid is dirt cheap to make I ain't goin' into the juice business.

I got tired of mixing for others...took the fun/joy out of things...surprised how much of my supplies I was going through(some people sure plow through a LOT of juice weekly), it became more of a burden, so I am sticking to me and my mom for now...I am not being sole supplier for others...no feedback besides "it's really good" too(I need a little more when trying out new blends), and when they demand I mix right away for their convenience...just felt my good will taken advantage of slightly.
