After suffering through Blu and Vuse fiascos I finally bought a couple mods over the past month. I picked up an Aspire premium starter kit and an IStick with Nautalis Mini. I love the IStick and use the aspire battery when I have to go to work and leave it in the cold truck. When I first bought the Aspire I picked up a bottle of the shop's "house" Blueberry menthol juice. The second I took a puff I knew I would never smoke another cigarette. It had a very strong and icy flavor that other similar juices I've tried can't compare to. Sadly they have not had any in stock since I bought the first bottle and don't seem too interested in restocking any time soon. What would be the best way to make menthol flavors myself using store bought juices? I've tried mixing a menthol juice that i bought with others 50/50 but it doesn't really seem to change the flavor much. I haven't tried the menthol flavor on it's own yet, but it might just be weak. I've also heard about getting concentrated menthol flavoring or crystals but I wasn't sure if either could be added successfully in a 2ml tank (or 12ml bottle).

It took me a while to find more juices that I could tolerate. Most that I have tried at the shop nearby have a strong underlying "burnt" sort of flavor that is consistent throughout different juices. Is this normal for most juices or could it be their tester tanks? I picked up a strawberry flavor with my first puchase as well but it has that strong burnt flavor as well and it really throws off the weaker fruit flavor. I didn't get that with the blueberry menthol and could even inhale/exhale it through my nose. I'm just guessing that the strong menthol masked that flavor and "kick".

Anyhoo, Thanks in advance for any info and advice. vaping is amazing and since I've started I've tried to inform and encourage everyone I know that smokes to make the switch. I've almost gotten friend from work to switch, but he thinks that both of my mods are "huge" and wan'ts something 1/3 the size of the Aspire kit

Welcome dmans, and HNY to you! Being a former menthol smoker I immediately went with that flavor/sensation when I started vaping. I found Mount Baker Vapor's Extreme Ice early on and have been with it for about 4 months now as an ADV in a basic Nautilus tank. I just like the taste and the menthol kick. When mixing with fruit flavors I tend to think of it more as adding the fruit to the menthol than vice versa. A fruitified menthol rather than a mentholated fruit, if that makes sense.

As an example: Using all premixed juices, add a fruit flavored juice to the menthol juice until it tastes good. About 1/3 fruit to 2/3 menthol seems to work for me.

I would suggest menthol crystals. I bought an ounce several years ago for 4 or 5 bucks and still have half of it left!
The crystals easily dissolve in any PG/VG mixture and you can make the mix to any desired strength. With a little experimentation you can easily "mentholize" any juice you like, but be careful you can over do it and frost your tongue!

Welcome to this Great forum dmans. I wasn't a menthol cig smoker when I quit (honestly I just couldn't stand them), but back in the early '80's I went thru a Kool binge.. I get my juice almost exclusively from Tastypuff (www DOT tastypuff DOT com). They only have 40 or so different juices I guess, and more than several minty and fruity flavors that I have sampled and liked thinking in advance that I wouldn't. Send Erin an email (erin@ that domain) and tell her what your prefs are and ask for suggestions. She has been very good at knowing or guessing what I will like and what I won't. I've ordered large juices from them that I knew I wanted a couple times already, and she has included samples of their other juices and I have yet to dislike any of them.

I don't know where you're located, but that company is in New Mexico, US.
