is mixing walmart vg with high nicotine level juice a good idea to save some money? I've been getting my ejuice from mt baker vapor, normally use 1.8% and i've been thinking about getting the highest nicotine level juice they have and mixing it with vg to lower the nicotine level, vg alone is way cheaper than the juice. and what pg/vg ration should i get? cuz max vg is pretty thick and im using a ego with a bottom feed tank, would the thickness be a problem?

Well doing that would significantly lower the flavor since you're essentially diluting the juice... I guess MBV does give you extra flavoring shots but I still don't know if that would work very well. You might as well still try it if you're that bent on saving money, to each his own...
You can dilute the flavor right out of many juices by adding even the smallest amount of cheap VG. I added the extra VG for the extra "cloud kick" and ended up with some really bland vapes. Check out ITC vapes. They have such low prices and pretty good juices. 20 bucks for 120 mil bottle.....not much incentive to try and alter it at that price. Just my opinion from my limited mixing experience.
If it comes down to money just get some flavoring and make your own. I make mine and I thin my VG 20% with distilled water to begin with. You might could order your juice with say 4 or 5 flavor shots and delute it maybe 50%. If your going to try that I would suggest you order maybe 80/20pg since your deluting with vg. Depending on what ratio you want in the end.
geez! if you get 2 flavor shots then you dilute it 50%, but if you get 5 flavor shots you can dilute it 80% and basically cut your ejuice cost down to 20 cents on the dollar.
Mt Baker is pretty cheap already? That wouldn't be my first choice of juices to water down. and when you do you will need to let it steep for a few days to let the VG absorb the flavor. But theoretically as long as it is USP grade VG it should work. I have some VG from Walmart and it is 99.5% pure VG, not sure what that .5% is. and it has a much sweeter flavor than my VG from Essentials depot or bull city vapors.

I have some 50/50 juices that have super powerful taste after sitting for several months. I just bought a quart of VG out of amazon and adding 1/4 VG to 3/4 juice and now those juices are back to a nice vape again. The only problem I foresee with doing this is thats its becoming winter here and gotta keep the extra VG mixes warm against my body or they will thicken up in the cold and not wick properly like I found out last winter when I left my mech and atty in the car when it was sub zero outside and I got some nasty dry type hits.
