Why mix PG and VG?

total newb when it comes to juice chemistry, but i was wondering why there is usually a mix of PG AND VG in ejuice? It seems that it would be less work and maybe therefore cheaper to just use one or the other

I don't think pure 100% Pg is good, probably too harsh I suppose. Mixed with the Vg it is smoother ,sweeter and less harsh.I got stuck with 100% Vg and it seems to clog everything and shortens life span of atty's ect.Like vaping maple syrup almost.I need more Pg than Vg in my juice.But I'm sure there are vendors who make good 100% Vg juice.Probably why I've been having issues with all my gear,No more 100% Vg for me pal,Time for a change.

pg carries flavor better, vg gives you thick clouds....finding the right mix that gives you big clouds and good flavor is the key

PG is thinner and gives the throat hit.
VG is thick and sweetens a bit and produces more vapor.
70/30 or 80/20 (pg/vg) is a good start.
Too much VG can be too thick for some devices.

Trust me..you'll go through 100s of mls of juice in no time.
It's like pizza. they're all good. Its just that some are better than others.

It takes time to find out what's right for YOU!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of people just want VG. Some just want PG. I can't take anything less than a 70%pg and a 30%vg. But then like I said it takes some time. Just remember what ratio you use when you get the vape you want. Good luck. And Welcome to ECF.
