The graph on my galaxy note 2 shows up empty :(

Still trying to research what would be best for a mech mod.

I also just ordered a very nice $10 18650 flashlight (ultrafire 502b) youtube reviews are pretty amazing for a ten dollar flashlight.

I figure I can get use out of my older bats in it plus its nice to have around being rechargeable and it has hi, low, med and strobe..... ok that was a weird offtopic hijack

Sorry lol

Thanks for the tip....:toast:....Ordered two..:D

If anyone else would like to know I got a spring from amazon. It seems to be working pretty well. It's taken care of about 80% of my voltage drops.
Silver-Coated Beryllium Copper Compression Spring .240" OD x .018" Wire Size x 0.670" Free Length: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Thanks for sharing!

And being a prime member gets me free 2 day shipping! :D I picked up the last 2 in stock, so I should be good to go on springs. Now if I could find a better aftermarket button for it and a SS bottom cap I would be good to go. May just sand my bottom cap down to the brass and leave it that way....didnt take long for it to start looking like crap compared to the rest of the mod.

The springs are a bit small so you will need to give it a little twist and it will fit right in. I'd like to get a new button too. Mine keeps coming loose.

Take a small box-end wrench to the hex on the inside pin, and another on the switch hex-head, and carefully give it a snug... Mine has yet to come loose, and I use it almost daily... :)

great thread; good help.
i ordered one... at $15, its at least going to improve things... not that its bad, but you know.
The $15 is offset by selling my collector tank anyway (Stormy's top cap $25)... still around $70 for a good mech device that sits up well on a table top :)

the great thing is that these are well made, function well, and with rba, even with the voltage drop, the vape is terrific.

I just bought one, so they either went to a different vendor or restocked :)

They say the orbtronics are great for sub ohm mech mods. This mkb is my first true mechanical mod, im having a hard time understanding why alot of people use a sub ohm coil... I know its a hotter vape but I cant see like a .5 ohm coil.... what is it- 1 wrap of kanthal?

Im not knocking anyone who does run these extremely low ohm setups... just trying to learn, my mkb and oddy clone will be here soon so ill get to play around with it and stop asking somany questions ;-)

SLR is great on my drippers and gennies, but I haven't had a successful SLR single or dual coil on the term. Runs too hot and juice flow just doesn't keep up with my chain vaping no matter how far the juice control is open. Maybe it's the wick?

its almost the same ID, but twice the wire thickness.....so it should work but will be a harder to push. might not be a bad thing though, and it wouldnt be much harder.

Hows the one you have feel compared to the original?

I use sub ohm, single and dual coils in my Terminators, I have no problem with the wick keeping up. I think my Igo-l is a hottie in SLR though.
Maybe it's the size of the channels?

It does feel a little flimsy but it wont break under normal conditions.

Could be the channels. Only tried it on the V1 head with the 2mm channels. I do have a V2 head I could try with 3mm channels, but the build is working too well to take apart for now lol. Been thinking about getting some ekowool to try out as well to see what all the fuss is about.

I have found Ekowool seems to work best in devices that are more of the bottom coil variety.
Even though my v1 Term's channels are 3.5 mm wide they are not 3.5 mm deep.
I'm using 3 mm silica with an extra 3 mm piece in the coil but I snip one strand from each wick in the side channels to achieve 2.5 mm in the side channels.
I do this with all my Terminators

I use a very fine Emory cloth (320j) to clean but use no protection other than keeping my fingers off it as that is the worst offender
The positive pin where it contacts the atomizer it the spot that requires the most attention for me, about every 2 days I shine it up and think I see a large improvement, even though it doesn't look too bad.
