Ok, so I too love the MKB so I was experimenting. I put a Termintor-C top cap on the end of the MKB, it works pretty good, not a perfect look but cover the exposed threads. Just don't overtighten. Not bad?View attachment 218444

Polished my mkb-Ts the other night. Step sanded it with 400, 800, and 2000 grit sandpaper then buffed with PEEK and #0000 steel wool. Can see my reflection in it. Kinda temped to sand the gold plated caps back to brass and do the same. Anyone know if the bottom cap can be dismantled?

That's the stuff. I also used some afterwards with a shammy cloth to buff it up even more. I left the telescope tube unpolished to give it a two tone look.

i got one of these coming in (thanks to mod envy) stormy has a new top cap and an adapter and i really don't know which one i want, is the new top cap worth the extra $15? which way looks better?

In my opinion, both look pretty good and have different purposes. I have the stealth top cap, and usually use it when I'm out and about just because I don't like my mods too big. When I'm at home, I love using the top with the collector tank and adjustable air flow. If your going just for looks, I say just get the adapter and use the top that came with it.

those pics made it even harder!!!! lol, no offence but the stock cap almost makes it look like a mess up there, then the stealth cap just looks a bit off with the rounded edges, think i'll just get the adapter and enjoy it purely on the vape

are these 20mm or 22mm? if their 20 then my DID is gonna look sexy with the stock cap

Keep in mind that you can mount a large atomizer with an Ego 510 adapter and without the gold top cap for that GGTS look along with full use of air control ring if your atomizer draws air through the 510. That is my prefered way if mounting a Terminator with a 510 base.

i only have DID's and Phoenix's so adjustable airflow for me is well useless. i'm looking forward to it for sure cause the only mech i have is a legacy mini and i can't fit a safety fuse in it. i'll have a protected aw18650 for this plus a safety fuse for extra protection

It looks as if it screws into the 510 on the mod rather than on the outside of the 510 so I "think" it will work
The GG one for sure doesn't fit the MKB because it screws onto the threads on the outside of the 510 and the GG is 801 and Mkb is 901/808

I was headed sideways for a moment.

Clouds of Vapor should have the GG one real soon when the GGTS' arrive.

The adapter for the MKB-TS screws directly into the 510 connector, while the GG GGTS adapter screws-on over the connector. The GGTS adapter will not fit the MKB-TS outer connector threads.

If you are getting a GGTS, the MKB-TS adapter should work, but, I would suggest getting the genuine GGTS adapter. It's much better quality, and will be a strong connection with the GGTS.
