Great idea it never entered my head believe it or not. We could sell ony the Sd , neck Lanyard, 1 atomiser and nothingelse.. Could always pick the batteries and chargers up as single items.. These will be listed soon anyway.

Halfprice maybe less would be do able i think..

I'd buy that. It would be a smart move to have something in that price range to compete with the pricing on the SD knockoffs coming out. If I was comparing the two options and the choice was between something for $160 vs $65 I'd probably go with the latter (unlike Bandit, $ is an issue for me) even if it was a crappy copy.
But given the option to own a genuine SD the same price, even if I had to order additional stuff elsewhere, I'd absolutely go with the SD.

I agree i've got a dozen or some 14500's and two chargers already....to get the orginal at Close to the price of the knockoff, without having to deal with the extra crap i don't need....i'd buy one

I ordered the MkII SD from the USA site and used the code that was e-mailed to me preorder, but when checking my bank statement I see I was charged the price I agreed to pay but then there was a separate charge on my bank statement for 4 dollars and some change ... why was I charged a second time? I was thinking about canceling my order because of it .. I didn't even get notification that a charge was going to be made on top of the agreed payment ... Did I miss something? what happened?

Just to clear things up a little.. The 4 dollar charge did not come from TW website .. I found out it was a transaction charge that should have not been added .... So continues my excellent experience with TW and there Awesome Customer Service! :)

Brilliant. I'm so glad that I suggested it ... :D

Bandit>>> Some good points raised and it does seem expensive, however the production costs have been high. So far we have sold only a few hundred, not because noone wants one. But because i only wanted a small quantity to test before releasing on the market.... Having said that i have been working out my costings on the kits factoring in all expenses and am wondering can i drop the price??

Noway can it come down $60 i would be selling at a loss , but i agree its a mass market PV and i believe more a Product all could use rather than only Mod fans.

I will workout my pricing accurately and see what we can do..

Right on. Replies like this make me happy I have done buisiness with you and eill again for sure. Bandits thoughts are pretty valid too the whole attitude of buying one just to say "I have one" is actually going thru my mind and the packaging is killer. I'd really probably rather buy the scaled down kit though. Who knows I just might get one real soon.

Derek:)

I've always had positive experiences with TW.
They were my first PV purchase

I too think the Sd is extremely high @ $159.00

Most people that are after MODS already have a slew of bateries and chargers available (I know I do).
Almost all the other MOD brokers offer a full version and a stripped down kit and some offer only the bare kit. There are drop downs to add additional pieces.

If we can get this worked out, I'd buy one..

*edit* Pillbox... where they at? Just checked the site and only the full kits are up..

If this were $100 or less, more people would be apt to grab one just to have it... but at $159, that's absolutely insane.

I sort of know where you're coming from, but if you bought a genuine rolex watch you wouldn't expect the hands to be missing or a rolls royce with plastic seats. Top market products have top market prices, and i think IMO the sd mkII is in the presentation and device a top market product.

$159.99 is crazy! By charging a ridiculous price for mass produce product Wicked will recieve customer Feedback they will be dealing with for sometime. Sooner or later people will realize and respond knowing they paid more than double to what else is on the market, sort of like the way people felt after doing business with SmokeEveryWhere. No one designed the ScrewDriver it was a flashlight.

Judging from sales at TW's UK and US sites, and opinions expressed by those who have bought them, there DOES appear to be a healthy market for the product...

There is a healthy market for MaccieDs, but that doesn't make it a de facto 'good value' product. In fact there are many better value products out there. I'd take a tuna salad Sub anyday :p
But the SD deserves it's place in the market, just not at the current price point.

I know what you mean - my comment was aimed at our US "free market is all" cousins. ie if it sells well the price is right.

I have Mk1 and Mk2 SDs - I feel the Mk 1 is value because of the level of service and support trog gives - regardless of how old the SD is. I bought my Mk2 at 20% discount from TW - at that price I felt, given the completeness of the kit, presentation, super fast delivery (less than two days), it also was value for money.

I look at all these things from the viewpoint of someone who was spending £60 a week on cigs and now, using "big battery" PVs, is now saving £150 months every month.

I'd be interested, but the price would have to drop significantly. I also think you guys need to find a better way to make your case, that this is a special mod.

Being a new e smoker, and having never used a mod before, it is unclear to me which mod is better, so I tend to look at price.

I would also recommend you guys put more descriptions all over your website. A lot of people don't know the details of e smoking, or they are not interested, so something that would be easier for people to digest would be better.

Yeah mate, £79.99 is the right price in the current climate. It's a pity the 20% knockdown doesn't come along more often.
